Chrome line cars. Just Looks, or do they actually perform better?

I didn't bother unlock the "chrome line" cars from the collectors edition until yesterday, driving those cars early on in the game is a bit like cheating. Not like the past series where all cars had to be bought, earned, or awarded, a bit of a unfair advantage if you ask me.
 
Can you paint over the decals on chrome line cars? If not, I want to try and trade someone all of my chrome line cars for the normal versions.
 
the best part about the chrome line cars are no matter how bad you beat them up it is always 500cr to rebuild the motor and fix the chassis 👍
 
I downloaded my chrome line during level 14...but I've yet to use any of them.
Why do I want to keep them with zero miles? What's wrong with me? :crazy:
 
The handling difference between the chrome Murcie and the LP670 is like night and day, advantage 670, I like em both, but I really like the 670.
 
I quite like the cars but my only gripe is the fact that they cannot be repainted. Not a big fan of the GT logo on the side. But hey, they were free and some of them are pretty fun (love the Shelby!).
 
I have the Chome Line Lambo and Beemer. Don't like either of them. Something off about them. Probably just me. Still, not a fan.
 
Chromes are better! the M3 is way better than the regular one, the lambo is a boat and the R8 a beast! the other i don't know
 
I finally looked for my redeem codes; I had bought the regular game version first.

Re-deemed my cars no problem; still have to give them a drive.

I take it you are stuck with the paint job they came with?

Yep. :indiff: which is why I never drive the M3.

:eek: The 787B is fierce! I tricked mine out to the max, and was screaming down the straights at Sarthe in excess of 225mph!

I was not impressed in one race though. Whilst racing Sarthe at night, I had left the competition for dead, with the ridiculous acceleration of the 787B, but I was not prepared for what I saw in my rear view...

I was shocked to see, a stealthed GT-R GT500 flashing his headlights, trying to get me to yeild! I know the GT-R is fast, but it shouldn't be as fast as a maxed out 787B... Somethings never change! :lol:

Although we are talking about ChromeLine DLC, ^^^Thats a pretty interesting Story!
