Hey. I searched a bit around, but could not find an answer to my question.

Is it possible to delete the chrome line cars? I got the Jag chrome line car from the Facebook app, but I dont want it anymore.

Thanks :nervous:

Can't you just not use it?

If you click sell, it's will say you can't, and then I think it says would you like to remove it form your garage. Try it and see. :)

I have already tried that, but it just tells me I can't "remove" the car or something.. I guess it is linked to my PSN account, so I think what one must do in order to remove the chrome line cars is un-redeem the code I redeem to begin with. Any ideas as how to proceed? 💡

Just like Mattythedog said, if you click to sell it, it says it can't be sold. And if it then asks if you are sure you want to delete the car from your garage, you have to be aware that every car you delete won't come back. And while chromelines can not be obtained by anything and they are some kind of rare, i would recommend you to just keep them... But thats my opinion ofcourse... :sly:

Why don't you want it anymore?

I'm pretty sure the DLC is linked to your PS3, not directly to your PSN account. I created a couple of new PSN accounts on my PS3 and when I started GT5 for the first time on each new account, all of my Chromelines and Edge Camaro were already in my Garage.

I'm not sure if the DLC is saved in the GT5 Data folder or somewhere else. However, I'm pretty sure that in the "Permanent Borrow Glitch" thread, the OP got rid of his Edge Camaro somehow.

EDIT: Here is the thread. Read the first post. It seems the DLC is saved in the GT5 data folder. However, deleting the GT5 Data folder deletes other things, too. Please read the thread before deleting anything and always backup your data first. 👍

PS - If you do delete the DLC car, you can get it back by following the directions in the FAQ section of that post as well. ;)

Thanks for your reply! 👍 I will look into that :)

Yeah, the DLC cars are saved in the game data. If you delete the file, you lose the car from your garage. Also, all thumbnails, photos, replays etc are lost. But game progress is fine. I know this because I accidentally deleted mine, and lost my Jag. However, a quick trip to your PSN download list will restore it if you ever want it back.

So that's how you can get rid of a DLC car?! For reals? Not stealing the light here, but I've been looking for just that! I hope it works... wait... I lose all my cars don't I?
