Chrome woes

So I'm 3400+ days in, level 38, 460+ cars (currently), and never once have gotten a chrome paint chip...until I bought the DLC. Now I have 3 chips that are decent, but I can't gift them, farm them, or do anything at all with them more than once. Frustrating as hell.

Are there any silver (or black chrome) or other chrome paints that CAN be gifted and farmed? I just need a couple of seeds! :sly:

Only chrome chips that can be gifted are the silver and gold chrome chips that were available pre-DLC.

i had similar trouble as you.....not quiet as many race days as you....i think slightly less than 2000....and only got gifted 1 chrome silver.

got tons of them now so if you send me a fr i will send you 5 of each for free ;-)

And orange chrome, This you can get in the Lotus dealer although its not as shinny as gold and silver.
 
I didn't get my first chrome until around 500 cars. I have 2 or 3 now with around 750, not counting the ones I was basically forced to buy unless I chose to pay more for the content I wanted than for that content plus a bunch of useless crap I didn't want. Not that the DLC paint colors were bad or anything.

I don't know for sure, but I'd assume that every time you get paint for growing your garage you have a [low] chance of getting a chrome. It's usually mattes instead.

Post in the marketplace, plenty of people will give them to you! Including me, I'm booked for the next couple nights giving away chips,but if you can wait I'll send you some! :)
 
To those that offered, that would be great. My PS3 username is calansvc.

Not sure what you'd want in return that I have or that PD will let me gift (:mad:)...unless it's any of the (IMO) useless helmets, suits, or horns. Other than that, I may have one or two cars if you need one. I have an extra CSL right now that's always worth at least something. :)

This is because although the name says 'chrome' it isn't an actual chrome paint.

Gee whiz no kidding LOL. Yes joking apart i know that and the same applies to the Orange chrome metalic as well. 👍
 
I'm in the high 800s and have received like two or three silver chromes. No gold though. And not planning on trading paints, sorry.

You get that when you give away free chrome paints... I've got room if you can't wait for gazelle to clear some space. 2 days now before i can send anything, send a FR and what you want and you'll be on the list 👍

Just got your FR, paints on the way when I can.

Yes i can vouch for the marketplace. Plenty of helpfull members willing to furnish you hand with some chromes. Obviously they have duped them to oblivion but im not fussy. They rock and the guys are doing a good service :)

yep that's my PSN Id, I'm booked up till saturday now... (as you can imagine) just send the FR and what colours you're after and I'll fix you up when I can.

Please all don't be offended If I defriend you after the send, I just need to keep below 100 friends (stupid PSN :grumpy: ) as gazelle found 👍

not going to get into the details of duping here, there are multiple threads already, just search this forum, all you need is a USB flash drive.
