costa di amalfi = the car with more hps win. Is like a long stright line, just the finish of the track is fun
citta di aria = the car with a better balance hp/kg, weight 50%front 50%rear and driving skill

I chose Amalfi. I like driving there with a red Honda S2000 with the roof down. Though Citta di Aria is very fun when you try driving a Group C/LMP/FGT car at its very limit without brushing the wall.

i prefer costa d' amalfi because citta d aria is to narrow for my liking

I put Costa D Amalfi because its a faster course ad much less "skill" is needed to win a race or get good at

Personally, I like Citta d'Aria better, it is definitely the harder of the two courses and great for the light little sports-cars I love to drive.

I love driving the narrow roads of Citta d'Aria in a small, low powered car. Just last night I drove the AE86 S.S. edition, and it handled the course great! :dopey: The Honda S800 racer drives well there, too. I guess I'm tired of using Amalfi for that race to sell the RSC Rally for money, I've done that too many times. :dunce:

What I do instead of that is run ALL the Special Condition road races except the two that don't give you anything worth selling. That way you get variety and buckets o' cash!

I do the RSC-Amalfi money thing, too, just for kicks... and for even more kicks, I drive the crappiest cars possible, to make it a challenge. I use Citta d' Aria for photography and car comparison.

Both are good tracks for testing vehicles, but I believe Citta d' Aria is more challenging for the driver. I particularly like the downhill twisties half-way through the track in normal orientation and the awesomely quick "snag-a-building" downhill on the reverse track. Flicking a car through there successfully just makes your day somehow... while driving Costa d' Amalfi's understeer inducing long turns is just... driving...

Agreed. 👍

I prefer Citta D´Aria, simply because it´s more fun with a LMP car. Extremely challenging, and very funny!

This is not even close. The decision was an easier question than the Motul Pitwork Z vs. the 350Z LM Concept. I race Costa di Amalfi more than Citta di Aria. In fact, I do Citta di Aria every now and then. Costa di Amalfi is a very enjoyable race course where you can enjoy more high-speed racing. You are also better able to make cleaner passes than at Citta di Aria. I also enjoyed the License Test with the Lancia Stratos Rally Car around Costa di Amalfi. In terms of beauty, both tracks are equal. Racing a track more than the other can obviously mean that you enjoy that track more than the other. For me, Citta di Aria is basically suicide. With an opponent on the same course, you almost have to employ dirty tactics to make a pass. The ability to damage you car would result in you having very little of a car left. About the bravest online video I seen was when GT4 was in its development stages and this BMW McLaren F1 GTR blasted through the narrow streets on the edge of a knife. The video made the course look easy.

This is an easy winner for me- Costa di Amalfi. It's more fun, more enjoyable, faster, and actually easier than Citta di Aria.

Hmm...Citta is awsome to drive, so is costa..argh hard choice.

Nothing like throwing a fast car into the narrow arch of Citta and getting it right..Costa is also great to drive, specially the reverse version.

In fact, Costa it is, simply because the reverse version is better than Cittas reverse version.

My vote goes to Citta d'Aria because it's a course that forces you to drive fast based on skill, not how much horsepower is under the hood.

I hear you on that brother! 👍

The feeling of exhileration, the reward for a perfect lap at Citta Di Aria makes it one of the top tracks in the entire game for me...oh and a white, old school Esprit makes me feel like the saint. :)

My favorites for the course are the Yellowbird, BTR, and RGT, along with the Elise and the Alpine 1600s. It is definitely challenging trying to keep the rear-end in-check in those RR (and MR) cars while winding down through those narrow winding streets.

Citta Di Aria, end of story.

Don't get me wrong, Costa's a GREAT test track for me, but Citta has a lot of switchback turns which my M3 just looooooves. :dopey:

I'm not a Citta di Aria freak, and I never really liked the Lotus Esprit. Costa di Amalfi is enjoyable in just about any car. I even did some runs with my Pescarolo Courage around the course. It is also a nice drift course when you want to attack some of the corners. Citta di Aria is the epitome of what people b:censored: about when they hate street courses. Racing against someone on this course is a bad idea. The course is extremely narrow. Most lanes you'll get are two, maybe three. Other than that, it hasn't been a place I've prefered over Costa di Amalfi.

Dropout.

Yup...Citta di Aria is the way to go 👍

I don't like Citta di Aria, because it has very low levels of grip, and is almost impossible to pass on, which makes the special condition races there very frustrating, especially if you're in evenly-matched cars. There's also a few "surprises" for those who push the car close to the wall.

Braking for the first hairpin in reverse Citta is priceless, but I love drifting every corner in Costa.

Citta d'Aria definitely wins it... just because of that amazing view visible from one of the tight hairpins! The scenery streches out for miles and its stuff like this that shows just how much work Polyphony have put into GT4.

I Like Amalfi, aria is okay (FLYING CARS!!!) i've just spent alot of time there, like after i became a millionare ($4,000,000), spent all my money (Went Down To $5) and i raced that race over and over for 3 days sraight. i'm just not a fan of tight little tracks, that close you in, plus i can't hardly drive in GT4....so..um....yeah.
