Yes thats true submaniac93 it looks totally different than the gt4 version if the city,I thought citta di Aria was made up by the game programmers,I loved this track always on edge trying to get a fast clean lap.

Città di aria namefile is "assisi" , which is the real location of the track
Other tracks based on real locations are George V Paris, Opera de Paris ( they're near ) , Hong Kong

Don't forget Seattle! and Rome (all versions including GT5) probably Rome Night if we look closely enough...

Hong Kong actually still resembles the track in GT4.

Gran Turismo 4 actually introduced me to this town of Assisi. I was planning to go a few years ago but went to France and Belgium instead. I will definitely do Rome, Citta di Aria and Costa di Amalfi next time

I had a great Google Earth file, in which all of the real world courses from GT up to GTHD's Eiger were marked complete with layouts.
Wish Amalfi and Assisi would come back, I loved both tracks.
