Civic SI, Rsx Type S, or Sentra SE-R

The Sentra's the best, followed by the Acura, then by the Civic Si, which is depressingly overpriced and Honda's worst US-market model (unless you include Acura, in which case it would need to be the Acura RL).

I like nothing about them, and I dislike the fact that they're front wheel drive.

Well, the Si was a big let down for the fact Honda was making so much progress and then. . . Nothing improved with the new Si. . . and then Nissan stepping up ever single model they had. Hands down the best in the compact car section between these cars :D

My choice would be RSX Type S, Civic SI, then Sentra SE-R. Whats wrong with making car comparison this is what this forum is about if you dont like it dont post in it.

I've had a chance to drive a RSX and I rather liked it. Had some nice get up and go, but I was dissappointed a little bit with the braking. I figured Acura would have poped for some really nice brakes or maybe it was just the guys car. Beats me.

I've never been in a Sentra before, they might be half way decent. And the Si is a ok car, America toned down Type R.

I think the RSX-S is easily the best here. For value it's the Sentra, hell I'd buy the Sentra, definitely. But the RSX is far more sophisticated. Handling is also supreme.

ic but, isnt the Rsx Type S heavier then the Civic SI. My cuzin has the SI it it seems much lighter then the Rsx. THe Rsx i have test driven is nice, but it under steers much more then the Civic. But as a drag car i would have to say that the Rsx is much faster then the Si.... i guess it all depends on what ur going to use it for..

Well ya its heavier, when I drove one I pushed the coners hard and it stuck to em great. I was impressed as hell. I wouldn't use either for a drag car, there more track going cars.

i just dont like the fact that the nissan sentra has a solid rear axle. in this group i would pick the rsx type s, but id rather have a dodge srt-4.

they are simply different interpretations of a ****ty fwd import. which is the lesser of the evils? it doesnt ****ing matter because i wont get caught drivng any of them.

new fwdd imports are for people that lack the sophistication to stand out and buy something used thats much better. bandwagon type of thing.

seriously, a civic is a civic, a sentra is a sentra..... for gods sake.

none of u like the civic SI?????

If it had thirty more horsepower it'd be much better. But 160 actually puts it under the Focus SVT hatch which is a better car by all accounts.

Yes the SVT focus is a great car, to bad ford didn't pop for more power to make it run with the SRT-4

The Focus RS.... but the Focus I like are ones with a 5.0 dropped in em.

The Civic Si is getting horrible sales, and rightfully so. The only thing making those cars move in a straight line is dropping in the RSX's K20, but I could never justify buying a brand new car only to rip the engine out of it. There's just so much out there that's better.

let's see... honda sucks... Nissans well yeah it's a nissan... acura really honda so honda sucks... I'd actually go for the europe Focus RS not that sorry ass "SVT" focus. SRT-4 neon sounds good but quality sucks.

Honda Civic Si was a big let down, well the RSX-S is a decent car, but no doudle wishbone suspension was a big dissapointment to me, so I'll pick the TSX over the RSX-S. The 2004 SE-R Spec V looks uglier than the base-level Neon, S***, hell, I'll prefer the 2003 version just because of its looks, and a touch of LSD and this car is a fierce contender.

To all of the people who keeps rejoicing the SRT-4, I'm not saying that its a bad car, but there theres a lot of crack ups, heres some, the front passenger doors are hard to reach when open , a sunroof switch that looks like a ni***e, and no power windows for the rear passengers WTF?

To those people who loves the Focus RS8 and the Focus 5.0 V8, sorry but there are no plans of bringing it to production, too bad. But if your desperate enough it will cost you a lot of US$ for links go to hotrod.com and autoweek.com.

For people who disses FWD, some people will say **** you, but to me its just drivers opinion, if the the driver is very unconfortable or had a extremely bad experiece on front driver cars, well thats you. As of now I'm quite confortable of cruising my Integra GS-R. So don't expose your hatred too much against FWD, just dissagre in a manner that nobody will get piss off.

peace. :)

Ya I know there is no production for the 5.0 Focus but that would that cool if they did make it. I'd definatly be the first in line. Just like the old school Pintos people dropped V8's in.

But there is still a chance, as what I said about the link above, there is a slight chance, but you got have a lots of mullah to be able to do it.

Ya I'm sure it takes a lot but just think...it would be a great sleeper.

In fact you could beat those Firebirds and the Mustangs on the straight.
