I have been trying to choose one of them to go to the Type R race, but which one is better? money is not a problem cause I have afford both of them. Both of them have the same engine(I think...) and look almost the same, so which one is a better car?

Integra Type R, as far as im concered Civic even shouldent be an option.

In the dealership gallery, actually, the Integra is 20kg lighter than the Civic. The best answer is to try them both. The Integra is a better planted car, while the Civic, with its heavier front-weight bias, should rotate better. The choice is down to your driving style. Either one will win it for you... as long as you get no NSX-Rs in the front of the field.

The Civic's transmission sucks. It takes two years to shift from first to second, with AT and MT. Get the Integra.

Integra Type-R, the DC2 not the DC3. If you can use the Acura Integra Type-R even better but thats just becasue i like the front end more lol. I feel that the Integra has a better feel than the Civic, but its up to your style.

If you buy the Civic you can use it for the Type R races and the Civic races.
If you buy the Integra you still need to buy a Civic.
Both are capable cars.
You wont get many A spec points using the type R Civic in the Civic races.
To get the most out of GT4 you should buy both and use both of them.

good suggestion 👍

Good thinking! The DC2 looks so much nicer than the Civic EK and the EP! You might also consider the DC5... Civics are for fun, Integras are for racing ;) (just my opinion)

I reccomend either the DC2 or the EP3. Get the DC2 if you want the best overall performance, but I would get the EP3 because I feel like it turns corners faster.

Integra Type R is a fun car. It has better straightway than a Civic Type R. It has more torque, better cornering and fun oversteer.

What do you mean by both? The car understeers in entry of a turn and oversteers when it exits the turn? Is it something like this?

An FF car will always understeer under power. Well balanced ones will understeer only moderately, like the Integra.

Under brakes or when lifting the throttle, weight transfers to the front of the car. Since most FF cars have a 60-40 weight balance, you end up with anything from 70-80% of the weight of the car on the front tires and none on the back. So if you lift the gas or hit the brakes in a turn, the rear end will swing around because there's not enough weight on the rear tires to keep them on the ground.

Since the Integra is light, it will oversteer when you brake into a corner, but since it's got a longer tail than the Civic, the oversteer is more balanced and you can catch it pretty easily.

the older civics are easier to drive than the DC2's. i havent compared the new civic to the dc5 though. the rsx or new integra is better than the ctr if i remember correctly.
