Now im totally into my classic cars and was wondering (if any) how many other GTP members were classic enthusiasts..

I'm a big classic car fan, but I don't drive the predictable ones (ie those with the highest horsepower). I love nothing more than gunning it around the ring in my 2000GT, or my gorgeous Europa. The old Alfa's are cool too, as well as some of the early Hondas.

From what I have seen online, there are classic car fans, and there are classic car fans (if you get me). Most are the former, I'm the latter. 👍

By nights I hope you mean after midnight mate since coz im on t-mobile internet I can only use the ps3 online at certain times

Beautiful! I still need to purchase the bus... i've got the '44 Beetle =]
 
Loving the Dodge Challenger '70, I've turned it into a 760odd BHP beast, and it still handles the power through corners fine. Power oversteer at 130MPH in 4th gear goodness! Mwhwhahahaaaa.
 
Nice one!!! Glad to see we have a few like minded classic car enthusiasts on GTP. My psn id is GTP_Ecosse. I'm mainly on playing GT between 8-11 at night. Looking forward to whatever classic racing you guys would like.

I have a very low mileage 1989 Mk2 Golf GTI in my real life garage....I would have loved it if GT had included my car rather than only the MK1, 4 & 5's.

Hopefully one day!
 
well guys.. as there is quite a few of us classic lovers i'll start hosting an online race every night.

the server details will be as follows:

Server Location: UK
Server Comment: GTP CLASSIC CARS ONLY
Server Track: Open to suggestions on which track(s) will be best for our classic car races? LET ME KNOW AND ILL START WITH THE MOST POPULAR TRACK EVERY NIGHT
Server Restrictions: Open to suggestions if any, im quite happy keeping the restrictions off as I will trust all GTP Members not to be silly :)

I'll start the server tonight (13 Dec) from 6:00pm!

Yeh i've got a few classics i love to drive around in but like i stated in my original post.. there doesnt seem to be any servers dedicated to them and I hate joining servers which just have people flying around as fast as possible. Not my idea of fun to be fair!

Really looking forward to this! Will be a fresh change and actually enjoyable to drive around :)
 
Totally agree, as for my PSN it's the same as my username on here :)
As for courses, Cot De Azure would be nice. Any track with awesome scenery is okay in my book. I plan on saving the replays and taking some nice shots of not only my car, but others' as well :)

Great idea! Would be awesome if we could all get together in a certain area with decent scenery and make some sweet photo oppotunities :) good shout mate!

P.s... just realised, can you actually reply/record/save replays in free run? or is it only the actual race you can have replays? im thinking the latta!
