I hope 2008 doesn't win. It might have been an ecellent drive from Lewis Hamilton, but it was by no means classic. If you want a classic race from 2008, look no further than Vettel's win at Monza in a car that no-one would have dreamed could have ever won, or the title being decided in the last corner of the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Sorry, but there was nothing special about 2008. If someone other than Hamilton - with the obvious exceptions of Coulthard and Button - had won it, it wouldn't have even rated a mention on the poll.

Erm, yes, I'm sure we will get around to those for the relevant Grand Prix...however, this is Classic British Grand Prix, and compared to the recent 5 or so races, it was a classic, Barrichello also got on the podium (almost 2nd but ended 3rd) and there was plenty of on track-action.

And naturally they are going to tend to pick races with a British bias, that kind of goes without saying, though they did pick 1998 rather than 1995 strangely - it was nice to see Herbert win.

Just watched the lot. Great selection, the best classic GPs this season so far, and I expect only Belgian and Japanese GPs will have a shot at beating it (oh and European).

Voting for the German GP is up, its worth voting for 1982 or 1991 as we get full highlights then.

1991 anyone? I'd love to see that old McLaren around the track. And the Benetton.

1989. Mansell's win from half way down the grid is the very clear winner here.

Then it's a difficult choice between Hill's oh so near 1997 and what I found to be an absorbing fight between Piquet and Senna in 1986.

Yup, 1989 won, though I still prefer watching Damon's crushingly close victory for Arrows.

An unsurprising winner for the European Grand Prix - 1993.

I'm a little disappointed they overlooked the infamous Badoer moment from 1999, but oh well. All good picks, looking forward to the Singapore and Abu Dhabi picks. 👍
