Are you kidding?
I thought I'd make a thread for people to post pics of beautiful classic cars (preferably restored) or cool modified cars. My first contributions:

...because "Oooh!" was my exact response when I saw and heard the exhaust.

There's a few others too but I haven't got the time right now.

Actually, 3 of those make me barf.

CAMARO, I agree with you on the Shelby. BTW, I've got the pics from Unique. I'll post them soon.

Although it isnt the exact model, it is pretty close:

The 1967 Chevrolet Corvette is undoubtedly one of my top-five favorite cars of all time. Although I prefer the rare 427 tri-power convertable, this 327-powered model is pretty good.

My all-time favorite car:

Ahhh yes, the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. Although pictured here is the RS Z/28, it is still just as good (actually better) than the barebones Z/28s I love. Although I prefer them in white, silver is a definate second.

I'm not a Ford fan, but this is one of my favorites:

The 1968 Ford Mustang GT390, made famous by Steve McQueen in the movie Bullitt simply kicks ass. Clean looks, fast moves, and that damn green makes this undoubtedly one of my favorites.

My grandfather had one, and I still love it:

The 1958 Chrysler 300D. Rare, beautiful, and faster than hell even in 1958.

Last but not least:

The 1974 Triumph TR-6. Classic British sportcar, just awesome.

Ladies and gents close the thread we have a winnar! That's the single greatest looking Mustang and muscle car ever. I saw one of the ones from Gone in 60 seconds (the one with Nicolas Cage) in person and it's an absolutely awsome car. This car just says "STFU and kick your ass kicked!".

Those of you that have seen and Eleanor replica in person, consider yourself very very lucky. I have been on the power tour and to woodward several times and I have yet to see an Eleanor replica. The closest thing I have ever seen was the Fastforward fastback. 67-68 fastback mustangs are severly rare where I live. I saw a yellow GT350 last year at woodward. Mint condition and he even did a burnout for Heather and I. Very cool but very rare. I will own a 67 Fastback within the next 5 years guaranteed. :sly:

Don't get me wrong, I love Elanor, but the GT390 is still the better Mustang.

Did you ever see the origional Gone in 60 Seconds with Steve McQueen? Do you remember how horrible that Elanor was?

That '74 Mach 1 was one ugly mo-fo...

I'm like some of the stuff coming out of America at the moment.

Troy Trepanier's Chicayne and Quadradeuce are cool.

Boyd Coddington's stuff is quite good too.

I'll find more pictures of other cool cars and chuck them up later on. :)

That lotus is on ebay?! Some poor idiot is going to be kicking himself soon for getting rid of it...

Ah I quite love the 59 Cadillac Eldorado a lot! What gets me going are classic hearse's and obviously rat rods, and hot rods, although pretty much any calssic I like. This is what makes me go "ooh!"

I also like the look of this Beetle.

I belive it used to be a mid-ninties Cavalier, Modified racecars are purpouse built racers, with the only production peice being the roof panel.

theres more, but im playing a rugby game very soon, so i cant search for them, no time.

basically i like the old rwd, 60s and early 70s (mostly!) european, japanese and american small cars that handled well.

every car i want is always available when i dont have the money. and when i do have the money, something always comes up.

isnt that funny how that works.

i appreciate the offer, but i must decline.
although i will have one in my stable one day.
