Clean Replays

Can someone confirm that the replays can be viewed with no text on the screen...clean, especially the races that show the tires icon. In GT3 you couldn't remove them to have a clear replay. Thanks

What? You could always have a clear replay in GT3 that had nothing but the GT3 logo at the bottom, what are you talking about?

Same with GT4, you can clear everything except the logo.

actually, its easy to have a 'clean' reply in gt3 (no text). Taken for granted that you did a race without tire damage, in the reply, put only tire damage as 'shown' and you'll get a clean screen. Most probably the same in GT4.

I seriously doubt you'll be able to remove that "stupid logo".. I think it's there for copyright reasons. However, if GT3 is anything to go by, it probably fades in and out while you're watching.

did they mention any specific reason why??? it was simple option in GT3 or is GT4 pushing the ps2 so technically hard its impossible to implement...

yea this works for GT3 - select only the "Tyre wear indicator" option.
Re: 2-player videos, yes they may be saved as 2-player, but surely you can still use the view settings to change it to the 1-car perspective, i.e not split screen? I have to say ive never tried it...

I got it right the first time i responded. You dont want text, use the tire damage on races with no tire damage. Thats the only way you'll have a clean screen.

Yes, They automatically start off clean/clear screen!👍 You have to push the square button to ad the track miles per hour etc...
