Let's kick things off with what probably is the most populair 1/4 mile car in GT Sport, the Nissan GT-R Premium Edition.

Transmission (Updated)
First set final gear to 2.900
Then set Max speed to lowest
Proceed to set final gear to 2000
Then enter the following gear ratio's
1: 4.334
2: 3.360
3: 2.775
4: 2.324
5: 1.946
6: 1.705

How to drive
You will need to launch from idle, so don't hold brake or accelerator. Launch in 1st gear and shift at redline.

This car is the fastest 1/4 mile car I've tested so far. Very competitive car overal and will do you very well in online lobbies. This tune will keep up and have a good race with most well tuned GT-R's out there.

Update:
Decided to fine tune the gearbox because this seems to be the most popular 1/4 mile car right now.

Let's proceed with an RWD car, the LaFerrari. Currently in GTSport the fastest way to drive high powered RWD cars is with TCS at 5, so that is what my tune is made for.

How to drive
Launch in 1st gear from idle, so no gas or brakes applied. Shift a little over redline with every gear.

Unfortunately, when racing 1/4 mile with high powered RWD cars, the fastest way I have found to run them is with traction control at 5, and launching from 1st gear. This makes these type of cars marginally slower than most high powered 4WD cars like the GT-R and Huracan. Nonetheless, it's still a very fun car to have a go with on the 1/4 strip.

How to drive
Same as the GT-R, launch from idle in 1st gear without TCS. Shift at redline.

This is a very fast and enjoyable car to drive on the 1/4 mile. Quick consecutive shifts make this car more fun to drive than the GT-R in my opinion. It just quite won't beat them, bit this tune will keep up with the more poorly tunes GT-Rs.

Wanted to get this car drag ready on the day of release. Pretty quick car, not the R35 killer, but didn't think it would anyway. It's about 3/4 car lengts slower than the Hurácan, so you might give some of those a run for their money. All in all a good car that lives up to my expectations.

How to drive
Idle launch, shift all gears at redline. Pretty straightforward car when it comes to driving, can be done in Automatic if that's your wish, consistent but a tad slower.

So a fun car, transmission is tuned a bit different than normal, but this seems to work for this car and never felt a need to retune my gearbox. Fast and competitive tune, race ready from the get go and very easy/fun car to drive.
 
Moving on, with the Subaru Impreza WRX Type S, fun little car.

How to drive
Launch from idle, do a quick shift into 2nd gear at 7500-8000 rpm and shift all gears at 7500 rpm. I don't have much to say about it's performance, it seems to be pretty equal with the Lancer, although I haven't tested both my tunes head to head yet. I'm also planning on getting the Ford Raptor because it might be a decent match for this thing.

Hi i did all the steps you told but i have a problem with the first gear i cant set it to 4.334 it goes to 4.362 do you know why ?
 
How come I don't have those gear ratios? Mine are like 2000rpm off. For R35 btw
