Here's a noob question.
I have always cleared the cache through the browser window in the PS3 menu here;

Recently discovered there is also an option for it while in the GT6 menu's as well;

So the noob question is do they both perform the same clearing or are they different?
thanks

Clearing the cache from the browser window clears the browser cache, while clearing it from GT6 clears the PS3's network cache.
Wow, I have ever only cleared my browser cache then apparently. I have never cleared it while in GT6.

And yet I have never run into any problems while playing online even though I've been playing GT6 online for about six months.

I rarely have any problems online either, & I hardly ever clear my cache in GT games. It's just something that is advised if you're having problems, if not leave it alone.

I wish I could say the same *sighs*

I've heard that turning off the media Server connection on your PS3 helps people who are having issues online. Dunno if that's true or not, but worth trying if you are having issues.

I'm glad to not have to worry about disconnecting because it has only happened to me once or twice in six months. Unfortunately some U.K. friends seem to suffer disconnections on a regular basis.
