Chapter 5: New Vs. Old​

“She says we gotta hold on to what we got, it doesn't matter if we make it or not.”
"Hiroshi! Your phone's ringing."
"Pass it over Junichi."
"Here you go."

"Moshi Moshi?"
Mr. X: "Is this Hiroshi Ito?
"Yes. What do you want?"
"A race, for pinks."
"What do you drive?"
"A GT-R SpecV, It just came out of the factory a few days ago."
"You got a deal. Where do you want to race?"
"Are you still at Tsukuba?"
"I just left the track to get some lunch."
"Good, I already booked us a session for 3:00."
"I'll see you in 2 hours then."

2 Hours later...

Mr. X: "Get on the Track Hiroshi. It's a two lap race."
"Alright, let's go."

Announcer: "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, you're just in time for the race between a R35 and R34. I also hear that both of them are highly tuned. So sit back folks, this'll be an interesting race."

"Dammit, why does my iPhone have to be stuck on this song?

The Green Flag Dropped and Both cars Raced towards the first corner.

"Oh 🤬
"Your R34 is mine."
"Woah! The R35 speeds away from the R34!"
"Time for some handbrake handiwork."

"But Ito manages to catch up after just the first corner"
"This guy's better than I thought. This is going to be a close race."

"But What's this? The Man in the R35 goes off the track!"
"Thank you Mister Obvious."
"Oh crap."

"He's gone off already?!"

"Looks like he can't really handle the power around corners."

"How much power does that R35 have?!"
"Is that a AMS Alpha kit?"
"Alpha 9."

"Damn Understeer.
"Why do I always turn too far on this corner?"

"It looks like our racers are trading some paint."
"POWER!"
"Watch the paint."

"Ito manages to get the lead, even when going around the outside!"
"Who needs power when you have handling?"

"The man in the R35 Has cut the Track! This can't be legal!"
"Damn Cheat. This guy is desperate."
"Goodbye Sucker!"

"I think going into the sand will neglegate cutting the track."
"Note to self: Get better brakes."
"Or you could just drive properly."

"I can't even see you through all this dust.

"This is starting to annoy me."

CRASH
"AND THE R35 SLAMS INTO THE R34!"
"NO!"
"Goodbye."

"It looks like the race is over for Ito in the R34."
Hiroshi:🤬

"It looks like Ito's pulling his R34 out of the spin."
"Come on R34!"

I did manage to pull out of the spin, too bad nobody took any photos.

"You're Mine now."

"NO!"

"Yes!" Okay, that's what she said.

"Hello Brand new SpecV!"

A Short While Later...

"Would you mind telling me your name?"
Mr X: "Sure, It's Ross. Ross Hall
"Well I'll see you around Ross."
"And I'll be back for my SpecV."
"Don't worry, I'll be ready."
"How do you know that?"
"I'll rent out another storage unit for your other car."
"You're a funny man Hiroshi."
"Thanks, I'll see you around."

Another Short While Later...


"Junichi."
"Yes?"
"It's Hiroshi, I need you to come and drive my new R35 back home for me."
"What a Coincidence, I need you to come and drive my new R33 home.
"In that case, I'll just hire a truck and we'll split the cost."
"Sounds good to me. And I'll explain the rest to you later."

A long time later...

"So what's With the 400R colour?"
"Don't Know, Won it off some guy in a Tuned up Z31."
"And He lost?
"I know, right?"

"Now to Kick it into high Gear."

"Woah! What the 🤬??!!"

"We're Gonna Crash!"

"Turn for god sakes!"

"That's a lot of smoke."

"I suppose the guys in the Honda Building are laughing their butts off."

"This is FAST!"
"Well the engine's strong."
"Pull over before the police gets over here."
"Where's the nearest tire shop?"
"3 kilometers away, said Junichi "you think you can go that far without crashing?"
"Why don't you drive then?"
"Sure."
