^Good catch on the rims, I really overlooked that.
This car really needs to be made into a premium.
Actualy it was always right and now its wrong because the car in the game has the first GTR rims the second GTR body and the LM descrition but neither body or rims
first 97 GTR

Mis season before Le mans then they removed the V12 and replaced it with a V8 and added body parts to improve front downforce on the car (wich are not in the car that is in the game)
98 LM

So it is definitly a GTR based on looks alone. Maybe PD added a V8 and forgot to change the rims and body![]()

The CLK-LM is not a re-body. It is a new chassis entirely, designed around a V8 instead of the V12. The car in GT5 is indeed a CLK-LM, and not a GTR. The bodywork of the car in GT4/5 is clearly the LM model. The addition of the front dive planes of the car in the 3rd pic is all track dependent. Generally LeMans cars won't run as high of a downforce setup compared to FIA-GT cars due to the nature of LeMans. And as far as the wheels go... race cars often run multiple wheels every season. Often different tire compounds will have different wheels.
remember when the clk gtr was hidden in GT2?
