That is fine as its done in game you can do that no problems. Altering the geometry is more about editing the body or modifying it through graphic manipulation.

Don't know if this might be allowed but I tried for 'old' tones in this one, albeit the car being the opposite of old.

One of my neighbors growing up had an orange tii that he kept on the driveway. It rarely ever left it's spot and the cover only came off when the weather wasn't terrible. It was a bit beat up and from what I remember he used to race it in CCA events occasionally. Not sure what has happened to it since but I've liked the "unusual" look of it since then.
