Further explanation of the theme, as described by Tonystew42:

"Now that the new Stingray DLC has come around and talk regarding it has slowed down, it's
time for a throwback to the original. Unfortunately, PD seems to have overlooked including the
original Stingray, so you'll just have to make do with taking this simple convertible Corvette
with some gibberish nonsense on the side panel around a classic American race track."

CAR: Corvette Convertible (C3) '69
LOCATION: Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

  • Entries must be posted in either thumbnail or a preview and linked to it's full size.
  • Posts containing bigger previews than allowed, full sizes or links only will be ignored.
  • Previews should not exceed the limit of 500px in either direction and have any effect not
    present in the original image.
  • It's recommended the usage of a free image hosting service, such as ImageShack, Photobucket
    or Flickr.
  • Only the Judge's favourite 15 entries will get through to the poll.
  • Keep in mind that the Host of this competition may ask for the original image and it must
    be submitted if so.

It's recommended to store the original image (from the USB stick) until competition week ends.

Final Entry

This is my first entry into one of these competitions, no editing done just a plain old photo, I took this nearly a year ago and saw the entry was a Corvette on Laguna Seca, and I liked the wheels in this pic!

Trying to get the link to flickr on this but it just comes up as text or replaces my picture with a small symbol, Raphaele posted a link to help but it was for photobucket I think anyone else have a flickr guide?

Fine start – make sure that we can enjoy your shot in full-size, too.

Cheers dude! Yeah that exhaust has that white-hot glow to it haha, and Nato just scrolled down and saw your entry and I thought hmm there is something about it that makes me keep clicking on it, the colour is awesome! 👍

Ahhhhh. It's been awhile since I entered one of these. I just did a shoot and need to decide, I'm at a complete loss of what I should choose.

EDIT:
Final Entry - Subject to Change

The antenna is also slightly bent, something that won't happen in GT5, not even to a premium.

If you look at the image full sized the antenna's not bent, its just a fence post in the background thats making it look like that.

Yup, good catch. Water mark is gone.

Hah, that would of been the most logical way to look at it. I just thought it looked fairly bright/contrasted for an unedited picture. :dunce:

I have no idea how I didn't notice that, I had no unfair intentions, just a mishap. :(
