Please, ensure you read and understand all requirements for this competition. Failure to follow
the rules may result in disqualification. If you have any questions, please, send me a Private Message.

This Thread has everything you need to know.

  • There must be at least some detail of the background (location) visible in the picture that can later be identified to be
part of the location specified in the theme. If the location is not immediately clear from the picture you must
provide the exact location if it's queried.

  • Entry post must be marked with a FINAL ENTRY text.
  • Entries may only be changed once and it must be indicated clearly.
  • Entries must be posted in either thumbnail or a preview. We recommend you to link either to it's full size.
  • Posts containing bigger previews than allowed, full sizes or links only will be ignored.
  • Previews should not exceed the limit of 500px in either direction and have any effect not present in the original image.
  • It's recommended the usage of a free image hosting service, such as ImageShack, Photobucket or Flickr.
  • If you want your entry to have a link to your full sized image in the poll, make your preview a link to the full sized photo.
  • Only the Judge's favorite 15 entries will get through to the poll.
  • Keep in mind that the Host of this competition may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so.
It's recommended to store the original image (from the USB stick) until competition week ends.

It looked waaay brighter on my TV screen and I got it on my computer and it looks dark and terrible which saddens me because I really like this shot. First time thats ever happened so I may try and redo it.

Edit* Much better.

I had the same problem before. I have a Philips LED TV. I can not remember the model. When I turned off Pixel Plus Contrast, I got a realistic image.
So if your TV has some kind of picture enhancement, turn it off.

Thanks for the tip 👍 I've never had that problem before, But I did just unplug it to clean behind it so maybe it reset something.

One thing I do with a night shot if I have one I'm especially happy with is to take 3-4 photos of it with different exposure settings, then I can use the one that looks best on my computer monitor. As a rule I find that photos always look better within GT5 than they do when you export them to your computer and usually they appear a little darker on the computer with more artifacting/banding. :(

I did redo it, and thats exactly what I did. I did 3 or 4 different exposures and it looks muuuuch better.

Thanks again for the suggestions.

Entry changed.

This is probably the best and funnest vehicle in the game to experiment different colors with.

I had the same problem this time around, I actually went and redid it, and did 3 or 4 different exposures (brightened it up alot) and it helped immensely

Did try that FBG, this shot though has the exposure set to maximum so..
Itching for a little 2.0 lol
