Further explanation of the theme, as described by ijkhk4:

"The Zonda R has a lap record of 6:47:50 in the Nurburgring (link). The backfire and speed of
this car just look amazing to me. Try to capture the exciting moment. Body color change is
allowed but not prefered unless it looks amazing."

CAR: Pagani Zonda R '09
LOCATION: Nurburgring Nordschleife (Weather Change)

Please, ensure you read and understand all requirements for this competition. Failure to follow
the rules may result in disqualification. If you have any questions, please, send me a Private Message.

This Thread has everything you need to know.

  • There must be at least some detail of the background (location) visible in the picture that can later be identified to be
part of the location specified in the theme. If the location is not immediately clear from the picture you must
provide the exact location if it's queried.
  • Only one entry per user allowed. It must be that user own work and never used in another competition.
  • Do not ask other members to choose your entry.
  • Entry post must be marked with a FINAL ENTRY text.
  • Entries may only be changed once and it must be indicated clearly.
  • Entries must be posted in either thumbnail or a preview. We recommend you to link either to it's full size.
  • Posts containing bigger previews than allowed, full sizes or links only will be ignored.
  • Previews should not exceed the limit of 500px in either direction and have any effect not present in the original image.
  • It's recommended the usage of a free image hosting service, such as ImageShack, Photobucket or Flickr.
  • If you want your entry to have a link to your full sized image in the poll, make your preview a link to the full sized photo.
  • Only the Judge's favorite 15 entries will get through to the poll.
  • Keep in mind that the Host of this competition may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so.
It's recommended to store the original image (from the USB stick) until competition week ends.

  • No other editing, besides proportionally resize and rotate, is allowed outside GT5 Photomode.

I think "flames" ( + speed ) might be what ijkhk4 is looking for .... thats how I understand the theme but this may need to be clarified.

👍 sorted below ...... thanks for clearing that up ijkhk4 :)

Just to clarify. I understand that it is not easy to take a picture with both speed and flames together. So either flame only or speed only will be fine. Sorry for being unclear about the theme.

Question about the track:

Does weather change also include being able to use the Weather/Time change track, or is only on the weather change track allowed?

ok is this a backfire contest now????
lets see if I can take a decent picture to enter this, I see it so hard now....

GREAT PIC DarkR!!!!!!

Thank you guys 👍, it was a little difficult to stop the replay at the precise moment to achieve that effect

Again nice shot:), good job your driver isnt claustrophobic:lol:

And thanks again cph! :)
I also made some more interior close-up shots. I just thought they wont fit this theme very well. But I'm going to edit them and show them in my gallery later. ;)

FINAL ENTRY
Black & White

FINAL ENTRY

I think white looks better than bare carbon on this car.
Maybe of they did like a white candy coat over the carbon.
That would be hot.

FINAL ENTRY

decided to change for something that reflected the car's attitude a bit better.
