Further explanation of the theme, as described by nissanfanatic:

"Take this car out and play a couple of rounds at Nurburg links."

CAR: VW Golf VI R '10
LOCATION: Nurburgring - any variant.

the rules may result in disqualification. If you have any questions, please, send me a Private Message.

This Thread has everything you need to know.

  • There must be at least some detail of the background (location) visible in the picture that
    can later be identified to be part of the location specified in the theme. If the location is
    not immediately clear from the picture you must provide the exact location if it's queried.
  • Only one entry per user allowed and must be that user's own work and never used in another
    competition.
  • Do not ask other members to choose your entry.
  • Entry post must be marked with a FINAL ENTRY text.
  • Entries may only be changed once and it must be indicated clearly.
  • Entries must be posted in either thumbnail or a preview and linked to it's full size.
  • Posts containing bigger previews than allowed, full sizes or links only will be ignored.
  • Previews should not exceed the limit of 500px in either direction and have any effect not
    present in the original image.
  • It's recommended the usage of a free image hosting service, such as ImageShack, Photobucket
    or Flickr.
  • Only the Judge's favourite 15 entries will get through to the poll.
  • Keep in mind that the Host of this competition may ask for the original image and it must
    be submitted if so.
    It's recommended to store the original image (from the USB stick) until competition week ends.

  • No other editing, besides proportionally resize and rotate, is allowed outside GT5 Photomode.

As this weeks car is a DLC car it would be nice if someone can help out people who don't
have it with online lobbies/private lounge or saved replays.
If you want to enter and need help just ask here in this thread. :)

As Nato said just above, I have a Golf R that I'd love to put on share for any of you.
Mine is all black with the full aero kit, but I'd be more than happy to change the color and wheels to your liking. :)

If anyone doesn't gave the golf, they can ask me what colour/kit/wheels they want and I can put on share.

For the non-DLC players you should also accept the Golf V'05 almost the same visual... just saying.

For anyone who doesn't have the Golf R, the only way to get a shot is to have an online race with someone who does and save the replay. Or for someone to upload a replay with the Golf R for others to use. My GT5 time will be limited this week - still have to shoot for my Tournament match yet, but if I do find some time I'll try to get a replay of a one make race (to give some colour variety) available.

No, why do you think so? There's no way for me to edit pics right now since my PC doesn't work, it's the reason I've only entered non-edited comps lately.

Just very exposed, it kinda looks like the miniature filter has been used without the blurring though.

It's not the exposure, it looks more saturated than most photo's straight from GT5. Just making sure it was eligible because I like it.
 
Glad you liked it, used the cross process filter with added exposure just to clear doubts. :D

Yes, I tuned the suspension & weight to get it as low as possible. It's one of my Stance Showcars.

I will allow it, but I'd prefer if you didn't use it. Only if you have no way of using the R etc. Sorry to make it a hard one this week. I honestly forgot that it was a DLC car.

Oooooh, I'd be interested in that. I had a shoot with a Golf GTI '05 last night but I don't think its very fair to be honest.
 
I'm planning to get a replay sorted tomorrow hopefully aswell. :)
 
I have just fired up the PS3 now and will do a one make of the 24 hour track. Just add me if you want the replay. And excuse my poor driving.
