final entry
"Fighting Stance"

CHANGED

For now (straight from the game) - will do some post process if I have time.

@NBDESIGNZ: Used same combo as I dont think i have time for a new shoot and for some reason GT5 is a bit low on old american 4 door cars.. ;) Guessing you also took the color for the pontiac from the movie. :)👍

Thanks for liking Nato and Haitauer!

@Haitauer: Yes, nearly the same color for the Pontiac as in the movie ;)

lol me and another guy on here had a huge photoshoot using those same cars a few nights ago as well. looks like lots of us had the same idea.

for better or for worse - now its closer to my original vision

ps. I hope that licence plate is within the rules. It took 90% of the time I spend post editing to create/transform that thing..

yes he can:

What you may do to a photo:

Crop and/or resize an image.
Adjust the level or curve values.
Alter the colour tone of the image (gradient maps, photo filters, colour balance, etc).
Adjust brightness, contrast, exposure, shadow/highlights.
Enhance shadows or highlights (dodge and burn tools in Photoshop, for example).
Add noise and/or diffuse glow.
Add a post-game tilt-shift blur, or apply a motion blur to a stationary Photo Travel shot.
Make use of Layer Blend Modes.
Use a Sharpening filter and/or tool.
Scale or enlarge rims.
Remove or modify license plates.
Remove the GT watermark.
Add a personal signature.
Clean up or fix jaggies, texture pixelation, or colour separation.
Add a vignette effect.

Remove or modify license plates.

No, he can't, because it violates the rule saying that 'no more than one image can be allowed' in entries, which is the license plate.
This has been discussed before, and I will find you the link to that. ;)
Edit: There you go.

But its possible to do a new license plate in PS without using an image of a real one. I used in the previous week and was allowed.

More than 1 image is to prevent the HDR images or put real pictures merged with GT5 images. But I'll wait for someone else to clarify that. I don't see any problem on using a real license plate...lol its only a little detail. :)

Using a real license plate will increase the realism of your entry greatly, and sometimes it is viewed too huge an advantage over other entries, so it's not allowed anymore.

Editing license plates without involving real-life pictures is still allowed though.

"Remove or modify license plates."
I was also going by this - but it IS a bit vague..

So even if i did make the plate in Photoshop Excluding the frame thats taken from another plate - and then trasformed the plate from 2d to 3d my self in photoshop its considered "using more than one picture" - Not like its taken from another picture using "copy-paste". Not that one even could find that plate in good quality from another picture as its the actual licenceplate type / number that the car has in the movie.💡 I think ill wait for desicive answer from the judge, or risk being disqualified. :ouch:

Or maybe i just draw that plate from scratch straight to the picture in Photoshop - wich I can. I guess then its "edited" - not "more than one picture" If a too realistic looking plate should not be fabricated the rule should be "only plate removal accepted - period" :)

But really - i think ill wait for Nato or SlipZtrEm to make the call. :)👍

There was already a huge discussion about the license plates. If you used a second image to change the license plate then it isn't allowed. If you manage to change it only using brushes (and the other PS tools allowed in the comp) and the basic image you're submitting, then it is allowed.

Forget the plates.
It's all about the car, the scene, the idea behind…
Changing the plates by using external images was allowed since I can remember.
This competition never was established by an official authority, so imho there shall be a wider spread of interpretation acceptable.
