I would love to see the original shot to se how you managed to get so much detail both in the sky and in the shadows, since the shot is against the light source :)

And just to make it clear, I haven't used lense flare or HDR to make it look like this. It's just another layer with some brush work. ;)

:) Great shot Mitch (I've already told you that you're one of my fav photographers in here, speacially not edited shots). 👍

A white brush layer (soft light/overlay) over the dark areas would make the image more clearer yes. The amount of detail you got is great! Nice work again. ;)
