Ok, I've been drag tuning for about 3 days now, and I'm stuck at a meager time of 8.72 for a 1/4 drag. I NEED TO GET THIS DOWN TO 8.50!!!! My setup is as follows.
Downforce 50-70 Ballast 0kg 0 placement
Transmission:
set final all the way up, then top speed all the way down...
1st-4.163
2nd-3.055
3rd-2.269
4th-1.705
5th-1.312
6th-1.022
Fin-3.800
Top Speed (top right hand corner) 186mph
LSD: F-60.60.10 R-60.60.20
Torque: 50-50
Suspensioning (this is where I get screwed up, and I know it)
Ride Height- F.20 R.20
Spring Rate- F.7.0 R.7.0
Dampers E- F.10 R.10
Dampers C- F.1 R.1
Stabilitizers- F.2 R.2
NO CAMBER (why would you use it?!)
Toe Angle- F.+0.20 R.-0.05
Brakes- F.5 R.5 (they don't affect your top speed)

There are a lot better people out there in drag than me so there has to be someone that can help me!

Take off the toe..the resistance slows it down. Make your rear spring rate higher than your front. Also lower the ride height to the minimum on front and raise to maximum in the rear. I'm running an 8.632.
 
Mr Williams only has 8.51 seconds of oxygen available when driving his Escudo :D:tup:

I already made a thread about the Escudo and no one seems to tune them very often. Got mine down to 8.509 but couldn't break into the 8.4s.

Ok, I took off the toe and it improved it by a millisecond. With the ride height though... that slowed myself down by about 50ms. So I did the oppisite and now I'm running 10-20ms faster (don't know exact time).
 
Also, to add to this, I got a really bad reaction time, about 750-950 milliseconds.
I played an official drag racing game and I got a reaction time of 400 milliseconds and I haven't got anywhere near that since.

So you did max front and min rear and it went quicker? I'll have to play around with it and see. Thanks for the heads up!
 
Sorry to rip on you like that mate, it's just your OP sounds very demanding and no one wants to be forced to do anything.

Besides, I might have found a better drag car in the R92CP anyways. (MIGHT)

To be honest if your gonna use these cars online, you may as well stop looking because MOST good drag rooms would not allow race cars.
