Yeah I hear you and do agree. I too though feel its not too bad in this case if it will bring in more entries. I really want to stick to the original deadlines but sometimes I just run out of time while in the middle of my entry. But thats my problem. True for those that do theirs in time it is a little unfair. But ultimately I'd prefer to see more entries in the end. My 2c
May sound hars, but its not meant to be harsh, but indeed, if someone can't make it before the deadline, its their problem. Luckily I had some spare time last monday, so I made this entry, but had several heavy tests at school and on top of that, a bigger harddance forum I was working with stopped last tuesday, so I spend the rest of the week creating a new one, resulting in me didnt had the time to pull in the rest. I could've done them today as well, but well, its just an internet game, so better luck next week.
And its not that its a big problem to postpone the deadline just once, but where does it stop. If I had the time, I could also go for such a huge project that would take me 1,5-2 weeks to complete an entry. And then at the day of the deadline also ask for an extension. That wouldnt be fair towards the people who did complete it in that week. And if you allow an extension this week, then others might whine the next week to extend it even more, etc. Sometimes you just have to draw a line, else it gets from harmless to worse.
Sorry for the long text, I don't want to sound like a whiner, its just how I think about it. I see the demand 'must be completed within the given time' equal to that of 'must include a picture taken in GT5 photomode'
