"No panning mode 3, no close ups or rig shots. Feel free to use phototravel, just bring out the most realisim you can without resorting to close ups. As for at the track, you're not allowed to stand in the middle of the track and shoot, so there's no close ups or crazy rig shots, but if you want to try to mimic a go pro, I will allow that. And if that wasn't hard enough! You can only use real lens settings. So no 500mm f/1.0 shots. Try looking at real lenses to get an idea of zooms and apertures, or base them off your own lenses.

If this was tl: dr, be as real as possible, shoot as if you were really there."

The shot is rather snap-shot-ish, the framing is rather odd, the red bleeds horribly in the darker areas and near lines. If you were on the floor, to the left some, to see the rear wheels and shot up at it with a little smaller f-stop, it would of been better, then it would of came down to editing.

I'll give feedback for anyone else, it was a tough choice, there were a lot of shots i wanted in, but it came down to small details as the deciding factor.

I know what you were going for in the shot, but the editing was a little wierd imo. A little darker plus a little more contrast and a little smaller grain, and it probably would of made it. It just looks way too light and faded.

And I must say I'm pretty glad to make it in this poll. So tough comp that I wasn't expecting making it with a standard car... And thank you for your vote!

Now it's the hard time: choose one among 3 shots I quite like, well, yes, I need a multiple poll but I think my vote will go to this very nice light on the Audi at Le Mans (and very good composition too). Bmxmitch would be my second choice because of the atmosphere captured, too bad background ruined the shot (in my opinion). Third choice on DarkR entry.

Nato: Another last cut, You nailed the realism, and there wasn't anything wrong with the shot, but it got cut for really the panning. I know I said no Panning mode 2, others used it more realisticaly, where it looks like a chase car shot, where as yours it loses a bit of realism because of the position its self, you'd have to be chasing the cars in the grass. Sorry if that doesn't make sense.

XiPolar: Too over exposed and over saturated. The idea isn't bad, but the angle/framing/editing could of been done much better.

Beeblebrox: Just came down to taste, the tones made the picture color seem sour, and upon fullsize, it looked distorted. It looks over sharpened, but blurry, but that may be Flickr's fault. The shot was good, but it just came down to editing.

DigitalBaka: Shot is good, just editing. The green is a little overwhelming and off putting, and there's too high of a contrast, the highlights are too blown out.

nfdids: You got some great realism and the monochrome looks great, but it's too artsy/wierd framing for me. If you Zoomed out a bit more and just showed more of the car, it would of fared better.

zzz: The horrible texture override the picture, there's terrible banding showing in the hood as well as it just being too over exposed and a bit over sharpened.

Yauma: It was close actually. Had it in the initial list, but the custom plate stands out too much from the blur of the panning.

hgrf: It was in the list and one of the last cut. The tones and saturation were spot on and the framing was classy and great. But it came down to small details, the banding of the gradient in the side.
