"Quite an open theme this one aside from the fact you'l need your 'crop' tool, I'd like to see what you can produce with a banner style shot eg: The width needs to be a minimum of at least 2x the dimension of the height of your finished image, so a ratio aspect of at least 2:1.... you can go a lot further if you like, the banners in the OP of these threads should give you some idea what I'm after. A wide-angle panorama style shot, some nose to tail racing action, close up letter box type thing or even something a little abstract or original. Freedom of choice is yours."

Just like to take the opportunity to say I had the most fun on Judge duties this week (CCCL inc). Not usually a part I like playing, I'm happiest just snapping away

I had 5 shots!! to choose from for the last place which was tough but without saying who got in at no15 my apologies to GTuned, Croooooow, SMfan and NB for just missing out Thats how close it was.

Feedback will be given to anyone who wants it.

My vote went to a shot that sums it all up for me , I only wish I'd have took it

@nfdids - Nothing happening because the pic is too static, no sense of movement/action, advice would be when taking this sort of shot is use a low f-number ie: 2.0/1.4 to make it interesting - check pics 3, 5, 7 and 12 to see what I mean.
Sorry if this sounds harsh but I hope it helps for future entries 👍

@lilmann73 - Your shot confused me. A definite 👍 for being original and pushing the boundaries but ........ 2/3rds of the image consists of a thick black border I know its very subjective though and I guess if the remaining 1/3rd had something 'stand out' about it then it would've worked, the borders overwhelmed it for me.

@GT HP Nut - Its a good shot mate...subject, composition etc 👍 It was almost there but it just seemed to be lacking something though and the more I looked at it I found it had no feeling, what I mean by that is it missed a little bit of the 'wow' factor IMO. Difficult because it wasn't like I could say one major thing was at fault and this week wasn't an easy poll to get in to.

@GTracer98 - This is a great location (check that sky ) but an opportunity missed I'm afraid, its crying out for the camera to be pulled back to as wide angle as possible or 'standing' further back, cutting off the 'corkscrew' track in the bottom left would have been avoided too 👍

@Yauma9 - Good racing action shot, not sure why but that barrier on the right side bothers me composition-wise, probably just me but it feels like it shouldn't be there. Not your fault but a similar shot on another part of the track may have had a diifferent outcome

It was honestly a total surprise when I pulled out a narrow lead, let alone winning.
