One thing about this shot was the panning mode. I think it would have been more suitable for a fan standing pov. Was it panning mode 3? Also even though it was overcast, a little bit of contrast or pop would have been good.

some similarities to bmxmitch's shot, I just felt it was about the cars and less the racing. Nicely executed though for a subaru vs citroen comp.

Your first shot i liked!! at monaco. I was hoping to see more shots from there, i thought it would be a good choice for tight racing. I actually had that shot in the poll until you changed it lol sorry to tell you that.

Your new entry though was a bit too much chaos, and track choice hurt. also 4 of the same car are playing a central role in the middle of the focus range.

I like what you were going for with the side by side speed, but the camera position being a high follow felt a little strange, i think due to that the jump doesnt really come through, just looks like a shadow error.

Competition News:

The new weeks thread will be up in a few hours: I'm away from my home PC for the next two days, and received jon's theme after I left, but my necessary files are with me! If you'd like to get a head start, the H2H theme is Sunny vs Cloudy, the only limitation is no Photo Travel! Obviously, hold off on posting images until the thread is live :)

Ok i was a little confused by your theme, it said rallycross but i was under the impression that it was just to show cars in competition for a position.
 
It's okay CCShaft, I kinda thought both of ours would make it on this one (mine, for example), but we will just have to wait until next time! Great poll guys - lovin' several shots. There were alot of great entries in the comp, and only so many places to get in - fkxpro did a nice job on the poll. Kudos!

Rallycross: standard cars in race trim driving on a mix of dirt and tarmac. That's the way I interpret the theme. It doesnt neccesarily have to be rally cars, but les mans cars for example will not do very well on dirt.

Just my opinion :)

Too close for my liking :lol: I thought you we're going to catch up SVX, great photo too! My first 2.0 comp win, its certainly been worth waiting for! :D
