I guess you are right nanabu.... mine are way over edited... I will tone down my editing next time.... lol
Feedback would be nice =)

The DTM Legend ! by RED3MON, on Flickr

show me the point where i mention your entry and the sentence " it is over edited"

well i forgot to mention about everyone else ..my bad sry it was for me obvious that everyone else would read the whole damn post and go trough the tutorials and take some time to try that stuff out .

every one else who can not find his name in post nr #21 .. please go trough the tutorials .

cheers

^ That's a damn nice pic and a damn nice car RED3MON :)👍

But...being a big fan of that car I personally would have liked to see a bit more of the front or the back - it's very seldom that the side of a car is the most sexy part ;)

Well since I am not on your top 25, and not among those that had destroyed entries

Maybe if I can have some feedback on the above entry please, thanks and cheers.👍

My guess on reason not to your taste: the colour was a bit odd and excessive, right?

Opinions and thoughts about this one?

Aragam #35 <-- your entry was actually very good in the first place but i think you added some "noise" and that was just too much sry mate .

Thanks mate 👍
Yeah I added a little "grain" too it :indiff:
Note to self, stick with option A :)

first of all , if you believe you are not so skilled you should visit this link and view every winner and compare them with your entry .

and now to the actually important side . it wasn´t easy for me to judge .. yes i won already a few times somewhere else but this was my first 2.0 win and iam glad it is over .

i felt a little bit disappointed by Moglet and Gtuned because you both are probably the very best of the best on Gtplanet and your entry was not good enough for 2.0 . it was lacking of creativity and even the editing was not top-notch :/

this is my original PM to kyle aka god aka SlipZtrEm

"hey Kyle ,

speaking of which, I would be interested in any tips in the whole of GTP on cleaning up pixels on the paint surface of a standard car...

The LFA & GT-R are too young to be considered legends. My vote went to an american classic. Thanks all for the great pics.

Totally agree with you here...

The way I did it (on the GT40 in the poll) was with the clone stamp tool. I can never get the smudge brush to work the way other people seem to be able to :dopey:

Other than in the early days of GT5 we experience sort of "judging is apologizing"
What do you guys think?

I tend to use both the clone and the smudge tools (clone first then smudge). ;)

so it seemed a better idea to put up a batman signal for your assistance right XD

There is an excellent tutorial somewhere on here about cleaning up the smoke particles on an image - the same principles can be applied to bodywork. Uses the pen tool to create an accurate area/shape selection, then use the smudge tool to edit the pixels (thus only effecting the selected area)... in a nutshell! :dopey:

Dig it out - I think it was in one of last weeks polls...👍

EDIT: Jeez, it's in THIS THREAD! (Post #41). Slipshots Particle cleanup. Thought I'd seen it somewhere... :dopey:

I really loved the idea behind the frontal shot of the GT-R on the Nurb in the morning. The morning sun glow on the car is beautiful, as are the shadows around it. The only thing I could comment on this image is that the area behind it is way out of focus for it to be any kind of a realistic image. I do understand the reasoning behind the blur tool, but there was no need to go so heavy on it. Otherwise this image just immediately caught my eye, and I'd like to give a major 👍 to its submitter.

Why am I the only one who voted for this beautiful white M5?:grumpy:

Also, tripple tie! Wuuuuuuut:scared:

Didn't make it, not surprised.
Maybe all you crying for feedback should take a look at your shot, then the polls and figure it out yourself.
Sound's dickish, but it's really true.

The amount of people just posting their photo with the word 'Feedback' is astonishing. People could at least have the decency to ask for it nicely or add something else to their reply to add to the topic!

You guys said what I´m thinking for weeks months...

since when are the competitions closed on "saturday" ?

I won? YAY :dopey:
But who gave the pivotal vote?

Also, I know exactly what I will do as theme, hehe. Kind of a revenge theme for you guys:p
