Carrying on with the PMC theme this week, 2.0 also draws inspiration from the day-long race.
It's La Sarthe time! Dolp wants you to take pictures at the famous track, capturing the
spirit of the race. Eligible cars are those that have actually raced there at some point!

CARS: Must have raced at Le Mans in real life
LOCATIONS: La Sarthe (all variations)
PHOTOTRAVEL: No
UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS: See above

I was going to say, this is quite possibly the most eye-pleasing poll we've had yet. So many fantastic shots, it all sums up the 24H so well.

First, I want to congratulate every contestants in this week's theme. At first, I thought that I will not see what I was hoping to see: the mood of 24H Le Mans race. I was wrong as many many shots, in my opinion, matched with this criteria.

Second, let me say that I struggled to get this top15. I had about 10 pics that were very close to do the poll. And from the top23 to this top15, I spent almost 1 hour to do the selection (the last 3 pics that were excluded take me half of this hour ).

Your pic is great. But I found it too dark. The car's choice was also audacious but as the track was not easily identifiable so it was less successfull with the theme.

I'm pretty glad that the theme was so much appreciated. I also enjoyed selecting poll's pics even if it was much harder than I expected.

Your submission is a great composition. Unfortunatly, it has too much blured in editing (as if the depth of field was so narrow that the rear end of the car is in the bokeh), somehow not realistic. Also, I don't think the all dark part on the lower area was usefull.

One of the pics I excluded as a last resort... Was so sad because I love the 905 and this pic's composition. Maybe with some tweaks to lighten only the foreground or only the car... To your discharge, you chose a very hard pic to enhance.

Wow, incredible pics everyone, I am just stoked I made the poll!
This one was a really tough one to choose, but ultimately I decided on the last picture of the bunch. The open cockpit with the view of the driver put it over the top for me!

I am not disappointed in the slightest to miss out on this poll, such top notch shots through out .
Mine was a little static I felt so kinda expected not to make it....

Have to say TVR's B/W shot did it for me.. everything (except the watermark ) was spot on with that image for the theme:tup:

For my first theme choice, I wanted to thank you all for your great contributions.

As vote will close in 2 days, I just want to emphasize on one little thing...

Most of the shots in this poll (and also many that didn't made the poll) are simply deserving more votes than we all can give. I am pretty sure that many of voters are in my case: I wish I could vote for at least 4 to 5 shots and think these could be this week's winner.

It appears Wallbreaker's pic will win. Don't misunderstanding what I'm saying: regarding other contributions, it's a great win! But I do think that margin with other pics is way closer than poll is currently showing.
