And theres not much I could criticize.
In the end I decided to pick Kyles shot, because I wanted one more shot from behind.

Ugh, another great shot that nearly went in. It looks like an unedited shot and I really like that.👍
The color is beautiful and the angle is my kind of taste. But something was missing. Something that makes your shot more unique compared to others.

This one? I don't know, it doesn't appeal to me. The white sky and dark back of the car destroyed it for me. Nothing special about that one....IMO :/

You've already said it. The blocky jaggies are always a problem with rain shots.
Everything else though was nice. Place 18-19 or so for you

And the only parked shot. But the composition isn't the best IMO.
Maybe zoom in a bit more or use a different angle. Idk to be honest....
It's just too hard to pick a Top15 out of 30+ images.
Yours wasn't too close from it.

My vote very nearly went to the 'green' photo but the positioning of the car was just too awkward for me. Had it been placed a bit further down in the frame it would have looked amazing IMO.

In the end I went for the yellow one. It's not that 'in your face' or shouty but it's very well composed and the lighting is nice and realistic. It makes a change from the usual 'bright light in the distance' shots that are going round lately. They're getting boring very quickly so kudos to anyone who does different. 👍

On a related note the winning shot is really not to my tastes at all but I appear to be alone! The bright background is too distracting and the rear of the car has lost a lot of detail to the shadows; instead of your eye being led across the photo to the interesting parts of the car my gaze is immediately drawn to the sky which is just a giant patch of white covering half the image

Hmm...Sounds like someone is trying to sway the vote. Not sure about the big white light on your shot Mog. Far too distracting.

But we all have our own tastes.

The car is too close to the camera and fills too much of the image. The lights have been chopped off early and it appears awkward to the eye. It's also presented at a slightly off-straight angle which makes the left hand side of the grille touch the edge of the image.

thanks for the feedback, but i was actually trying to get the lights and the grill like that. i liked it but i guess it just doesn't look good to others

Your shot is way to close! If you want to do a close up shot, try a different angle and focus more on one spot.
In this shot I really don't know whats the hot spot. Driver, BMW symbol, grille?



And, I'm very pleased with the result of this weeks comp. The poll looks Epic, yet again.👍
And of course there are some pics others would've included, but with so many great shots to choose from, I'm actually very happy with my poll choices.
