I have noticed this as well. Plus all those accounts voted for the same exact photos.

They were split up in our match. I always look at who votes for what and there were a bunch of votes that I've never seen before from members with anywhere from 0 posts up to 90 posts and they've been members since last year. Some of it could be a product from the front page.

I've just looked into this, and asked the rest of the board staff to double-check my findings.

The good news: I am 95% sure of my conclusion. The bad news: Match 12's results are compromised, as a member definitely has tried to sway the polls with these accounts.

As in a re-do? Or was it something like the SSC from a while back with Becco.
 
Would we just not count the votes from those accounts, or will there be a match 12 redo?

Well, as my back-channel PM was read and there's been no response...

Cade is barred from any official GTP Photomode Competition that I'll be hosting, effective immediately and in effect until stated otherwise. The other hosts are welcome to be less strict, but as this was also a serious AUP violation, I see no reason to be. The amount of evidence available to the members of staff confirms this.

This unfortunately means Match 12 has to be dealt with: Nick and NTX have both been notified. There are two choices: discounting the duplicate account votes means NTX is now the winner, unfortunately for headhorse. The other route is having a recount poll: theoretically there shouldn't be much difference to the first outcome, unless people have changed their minds, or new people add their votes, but the choice lies with Luis as that could make for a slight delay in the Round 2 poll.

I'm sorry to all that this wasn't caught earlier, but as always, thank you to the community for keeping an eye out for oddities.
 
If Luis can still submit the photo for round 2, is it possible to have a 3 way poll? So that match will be Soloracer3, Luis, and me? If that is not possible just assume I have lost and Luis go for round 2.

P.S. If I cannot get into round 2, can you post my round 2 entry somewhere in the poll post? Because I have submitted my entry already and I want to let people see it :)

The meaning of these competitions is to have fun, next time remember that.
And I will accept any decision taken by Luis, as he already knows.

Looks like trying to be less severe with punishments was a silly idea. Ban dully handed out.

Anyway and again, thank you for everything SlipZ, it's trully a blessing having a Moderator more in focus with the Photomode Community. Thanks for all the hard work. ;)👍
Also, as SlipZ said, there were two options, but I choose to discount the votes because, a new poll for match 12 would theoretically result in the same result (unless some people don't vote, or new people vote or people change their mind).

I am really sorry for headhorse and NTX that were a victim of a troll, and I'm really sorry for not spotting it earlier (it's good to have good detectives in the community. ;)👍 )

With all that said, NTX is the new winner of match 12, sorry headhorse.
