"I love it when cars, racing, or in movies, chase each other. (last valencia F1 GP was great for
these kind of shots) It always has a lot of action, tension and speed in it. I want you to capture
that action, tension and speed in a chase, so make sure you're driving fast enough. It doesn't
have to be a clean battle, a few wheels off the track or a little bump only adds to the effect.
And if you're missing some speed or action, don't forget to try out panning mode 1.
I love that mode."

Tbvh , I didn't liked the poll but atleast I found one pretty cool picture which got my vote , the Pace Car at SSRX.

The others were too "unreal" and not catched my taste. My only justification.

I was gonna do the police chase, but felt like it was too obvious. And now the obvious is winning. And somehow the blurriest, most wtf photo has 3 votes. I have a feeling people are voting for the photographer, not the photo.

Good poll IMO. Torn between the super blurred shot of the Corvette chasing the TT and the red Silvia RM leading the pack of black Silvia RMs. Amazing!

Also, one more I liked was the two black Challengers.

That's the whole point of Secret Santa - that you don't know who the photographer is - though some who use Flickr don't set their image to private and it's not too hard to find out their entry.
All the images in the poll are hosted on my Photobucket account so that they aren't traceable back to the owners accounts.
Some entries you might guess by the photographers 'style' but then you'll often be surprised to find you were completely wrong once all the entrants are revealed.
As for the blurry photo you mention - it's all a matter of opinion - I find it to be a brilliantly well executed shot that conveys the theme extremely well but of course there will be others that just go and that's all good, we all have different tastes.

For "blurr" see "theme description" , I'm guessing mode 1 and if so best use of it I've noticed for quite some time!
The chase shot also illustrates some well executed photographic elements. (imo) 👍

It's called panning mode 1. They are executed really well here IMO. If you don't like the effect, that's your opinion.

But as much as I love those pics (and many others) I liked the police shot the most. Really got me in an nostalgic mood, I thought of the days I played NFS hot pursuit 1, and nfs underground altogether.
