Further explaination of the theme as described by CCShaft7.

"Just take a 'concept' car - Premium only (except any version of the X2010 ...see below) to the
Red Bull hangar for a Motor Show style demonstration."

Cars: Concepts only - check model description to be certain.
Locations: Only and just the Red Bull Hangar, Austria.
Phototravel: Yes - Red Bull Hangar only
Unique Restrictions: No X2010's... just like to keep it real, thats all.

Please, ensure you read and understand all requirements for this competition. Failure to follow
the rules may result in disqualification. If you have questions, send me a Private Message.

This Thread will answer many possible questions you may have.

Its a good shot and I hope your not too disappointed not making the poll. My main (and only) reason was the car itself didn't stand out enough from it surroundings... maybe the Matte paint job or resulting colour of the car is responsible, but the concept ... excuse the pun ... and composition do work for me so I can see a potential and I really hope you go in for the new theme 👍

Ahhh I'm not I didn't expect too haha. Thanks for giving me your reason though, it's really helpful I just realised I could use that shot for reflections (below the car in the floor) haha but won't be. You shall be seeing me again next week though 👍

Lol, women eh?
I felt that focal length (the wide angle effect) on the front left of the BMW would have been more comfortable for me if it was in the centre of the image.... its kind of leaning and feels like it wants to slide off the picture, I hope I'm not being to abstract but just my honest opinion

I agree, it even says that in the car description on the game. The black mask was used to disguise the cars features a little during testing at the nurburg ring.

Yeah, but it was listed in the comp thread and agreed by the judge I believe.

And I agree about the lack of citroen, looks like we all forgot that one, or just prefer jdm with a light german seasoning

That's a good shot Ashes, however was probably a little too dark to reflect the Motor Show style part of the theme - my thoughts anyway.

Haha yeah. I find it difficult to take decent shots inside the hangar though. I dunno why. Maybe finding good angles is tricky.

I had the same feeling as well, lol.
I would've thought there would have been more of a variety of concepts in this shoot, but the majority seem to have gone for the Toyota

I think you know the difference gtr badge angle between the concept and the production car and also about their extensive use of carbon fibre for front grill.

I did that once...and probably never again. Though I do ask her opinion on some of the more artsy type comps that come up since she's flighty like that.

In my decidedly un-expert opinion, this might look better with the car in more of a profile position perpendicular to the direction the plane is facing. Even with the selective color the car feels lost among the rest of the elements.
