It's time to get old-school this week, in the land of the Rising Sun. Dark asks you to find any (Japanese, obviously) cars from 1950 to 1990, and avoid Photo Travel. Other than that, all tracks are free game, so get shooting!

UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS: See above

wow.. am i surpriced to see this. I expected to see Nato_777 winning the contest with that amazing picture. I think mine looks like a lucky shot compared to Natos "80's Rivals" - guess i didnt run out of luck quite yet..

I don't know if someone already suggest this but I think that in case of draw, the judge could decide the winner. Just an opinion

That is how it works, though unfortunately, given that this was originally a three way tie, I saw it as unfair to go with the judge's vote. The last tie breaker, the judge's vote went to the image with one less vote than these two, hence the unprecedented second one.

I've asked Dark to cast his vote, and I also ask that both Haitauer and mazda787 send me PM's regarding their proposed Classic Poll themes for this week 👍

I feel a little bad - I had intended to vote for mazda787 in the first tie-breaker poll, was going to cast my vote on my lunch break at work which would have been about 10 minutes before the poll closed. Problem was I got busy with an urgent job and made it to the computer about 5 minutes too late - just in time to see this poll get posted. If I had of made it in time mazda would have been the outright winner. Sorry man.

No worries Nato 👍 I was wondering about the poll this morning when I woke up for work. It was about 30 minutes after the poll was supposedly closing going by the 12H (assuming 12 hours) in the thread title. I was up 13 to 12 then but I didn't even know if that 13th vote was one minute after or one minute before or at 6:11 AM exactly!

Must say - this is just getting silly. I also would have voted for natos picture in the first tie but tought it wasnt cool to vote as i was one of the participants. So i think nato would be the righteus winner with the original judges vote - but hey thats life.At this point its just down to the moment the poll happens to close. I really dont mind if my proposal as theme is used or not . Great job everyone. Im off to others competitions.

For what it's worth, it's generally viewed as "good sportsmanship" to vote in the polls you are a part of. Obviously not for your own image, but most of us tend to do it. I know I always vote for my competitor in the Tournament match-ups, at any rate!
