It was a good idea, but I just didn't like the angle and I also felt the it would stood a better chance had the bonnet been the same colour as the car.

Holy, crap. I'm in the tie for 3rd!? Thanks for the votes everyone. And I am not surprised by seeing what it looks to be with that Datsun shot. You can't really make those kinds of artifacts in GT5's sky.

Most probably my fault for including it, but you'd think by now people wouldn't even think of cheating in the PMC by editing their picture, but still I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and see what the original picture looks like (although I've already stumbled upon it in flickr).:grumpy:
 
Bah, I was 80% sure that Datsun was edited, but chalked it up to my lousy monitor at home. Thank you Photomode Detectives for discovering the original; comparing the two makes it pretty clear.

Accro2008, Crooooooow, Evolvedsoul, gt-detective, magawolaz, rpanico14, youtimestwo, and fkxpro, you will need to post in this thread what your new choices are, as that image (and the last one) are now removed from the poll.

Voted for Boabdulrahman's shot. Looks like he just arrived at his supermodel girlfriend's place before they drive off down the coast with the top down. The picture being her view of the car pulling up like in a Martini commercial from the 90s.

For me it captures the spirit of the roadster, which is also what I tried to do. Also, thanks for the votes!
 
given the umm developments, i would like to recast my vote for the black Eunos roadster shot in Ahrweiler town square.

Too bad about the Datsun pic, editing easily fooled me, I was first to vote on it. (gt-detective should've staked that out, ha ha :lol:) Still a nice shot, it would've been a good entry for my secret santa comp theme!

Tough choice for a re-cast vote, nice overhead of the cobra but I'll vote for the lotus elan (6th image down) , great use of light and exposure, best composed shot of the group (imo) amazing depth and feel! :)
