Great poll this week, some fantastic shots! Going to be a tight race for a winner too!!

RallyMorten - I think your shot was pertty cool, i liked what you were trying to do. I honestly think it was a little too slow a shutter speed and it sorta made the photo look a little amature or something. I wouldn't read into that too much though, it may just have not tickled the judges fancy. Keep practicing and never give up because you can only improve right?

It was a nice choice of cars however it was simply too blurry, im not sure if you did but it looks like you used mode1, try using mode 3 as it makes for better motion shots, *NOTE: If indeed you used mode 3 then it seems your encountering the same problems as me in using arcade. The game seems to blur the car that isnt being focusedno matter how much you adjust the f-stop, the only way really to combat this is use a slower shutter speed however managing to find a balance that also includes a sense of motion as nissanfanatic has already commented.* Another point worth mentioning was perhaps the shot could have featured a little more scenery. I hope this helps, just keep practicing and fiddling with each feature, eventually you'll find a good balance

Im afraid it was simply that, the car, composition, angle etc were all great but there just wasnt enough colour contrast in the photo. Although im not a massive fan of them perhaps a filter would have made it a little more dramatic. The exposure could have been increased slightly as well.

Was using mode 1 as I didn't really see any difference, but thanks for the hint 👍 now I'm waiting for the next week

That's what I was mentioning earlier in my ramble lol, it may not make a massive difference in arcade for some reason but try it when in practice and you'll see more obvious changes in quality

i felt it was quite dark when i first saw it in the comp, and it still feels the same to me, as reds do not work well in the dark.

Yeah it was a bit close to the car, it could have also of done with a bit more exposure, I would have preferred a different angle as well.

Anyway, thanks to Aragam, fkxpro, jus1029, McZachenF138, RaY29rus & ZEROX for the votes, which have contribted to my first 2nd place in the PMC Competitions

Now what I can only do is to wait for the next competitions, and see if I have any luck...
