Further explanation of the theme, in the words of StephanCTR:

"Let's head for the Shuto Expressway. Whether you prefer fierce high-speed battles or soothing solitary runs, make sure to capture some interesting, lifelike pictures."

CARS: Street-legal only (no race cars, rally cars, concepts or race mods)
LOCATIONS: Special/Clubman Stage Route 5, Special Stage Route 7
PHOTOTRAVEL: No
UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS: See above.

Some serious contenders this week, quite a lot of them actually.. I can see this one being a close run thing. Although I see Moglet is off to a flying start as usual *tips hat*

I really don't know why his has so many votes yet again. There's alot better entires, and for once, mine.

Yea, I was thinking my lonely McLaren would make it as well, but it's not the end. I guess I'll try to get into this weeks Italian poll.
 
Great shot this week Gtuned 👍 It has that extra "something". I like when a photo has some kind of story or adds a twist to the theme.

Am... same car as #9 so it's definatly a Nissan, I think the model is a 350 Fairlady Z? or something like that...

Also can't believe mine didn't make it... Probably because it was too dark..? :dopey:

As it's my photo, I'm happy to confirm roninhyde is correct: it's the 2008 Nissan Fairlady 370Z (Z34). I hope that's not considered 'lobbying'! :scared:
 
not surprising I didn't make it. I didn't enter my original shot since I didn't wanna rock a 1:1 shot in this PMC week. should have though, it was a rocking shot. swapped out for a much more inferior one.

Lambo Gallardo pack heading for the poll


Making of:
My idea was to create a picture of a close pack of cars which are just "arriving".

The image was taken in the one maker practise mode at SS5 at the exit of the second tunnel. It took me several attempts to get the AI into a close field instead of going in one chain.

Camera filter was set to "half coloured" to contrast the cars from the street and EV was raised to make the steet markings more visible. The strong zoom was used to strengthen the impressinon of "close together".

Pretty disappointing selection for the polls

How does a close up of a light cluster fit the theme which was about the track!!:confused:

Anyway Zerox's Entry is Spectacular so is Mog's , BoozyBloke's ans sixtoes
 
I voted for the image of the 2 cars facing each other. It's completely unique and well shot, but still fits the theme.
