"Season 01, 02 and 03 qualifying themes were all Tournament related, and as you can guess, this one will be no different. For this Season 04 and as for all the tournament, you have to fight and win to the top, always submitting your best image. This is what this Season qualifying is all about, show you best single car image.".

Especially important to view in full size as the previews on many shots here do not do them justice.
I've seen a good number of entries on both sides on Flickr as well so those are easy picks but certain styles do stand out

I guess you're right. But that's gonna take a lot of work (=time) which I don't have, unfortunately If I'm lucky and go to the next round it will be plenty of pressure just to get the photo done so I'm not out by default like last time (I'm still gutted that it happened).

I'm out too, I seem to be following the same trend as during the last tournament. I am though among those entries that take up ~15th to ~22 which are separated by 1-3 votes. If we're betting, I think I could pinpoint about ~10-15 of them.

It would be nice to get this posted on the front page, might bring some more voters.

I still don't get the distribution of votes here (not because I'm out - because my entry is bad, and I should feel bad). Some of these entries are lacking in composition and editing, and yet they are leading over shots that are better.

rant. But wow, that yellow Mustang Mach 1 at Toscana (?) is incredible, stunning, amazing. I can't believe that it isn't winning with a clean 100% score. (Not my entry, btw)

I'm not completely with you here Fishy. I think the editing in the leading entries is pretty good - there should be room for both subtle and explicit editing.
