Further explaination of the theme from bmxmitch.

"It's the color I paint most of my cars. Pretty much every car looks good in black. So, I want you
to show me your favorite black car in your garage. That simple. :)"

Cars: Any.
Locations: Any.
Phototravel: Yes.
Unique Restrictions: If it looks a bit mean or mad, you're good.

This Thread will answer many possible questions you may have.

  • Entries for the competition this week must be sent to the Judge bmxmitch Via
    Private Message and not posted in this thread, any pics posted in this thread will not be
    considered for the poll.
  • Your PM must consist of a preview image no bigger than 500px at the largest side with a
    direct link to the full size image.
  • Your first entry will be your last, you will not be allowed to change your entry so be happy
    with it.
  • One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a competition.
  • Do not use a photo from your Gallery or post your photo shoot in your Gallery until after
    the competition (and poll if you made it) has closed.
  • Preview images can not exceed 500 pixels in either direction.
  • A preview image must be representative of the full-size image. Do not add effects to it.
  • Winner chooses the following week's theme and becomes Judge for that week.
  • Winners cannot enter in their own theme!
  • The Judge will select their favourite 10 entries and PM to the Host for the poll.
  • The poll entries will then all be hosted by me so that links cannot be traced to the owner
    of the photo.
  • The Host may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so.
    It's recommended to save the original image (preferably in-game) until week's ends.
  • It is recommended you host your image on ImageShack, Photobucket, or Flickr.

  • No post-GT5 editing, besides proportionally resize and rotate, is allowed.

It should be clear what car it is! 2/3 is preferred IMO, but not necessary.
As I said, be creative and have fun. :)
So, everything is Ok for me this week.

Also, the pictures itself don't have to be dark/black, only the car needs to be black, everything around can be bright or colorful as you like it to be. Just as tip:sly:

Haha, you're right. But the car can still look scary on a bright summerday.:sly:

Just focus more on the black car, then the "scary" look. ;)

That is not very scary though. It is kinda scary, but, I wouldn't run away from it. :)
If I'd run away from it, it will work as a "villain car".

Just shoot your favorite black car.....not the scariest!

I just don't want to receive pictures with only headlights and everything black around it. I want to actually see the car!

Hope this clarifies it a bit more.
 
I have three decent pics... but can't choose! I'll have a look at them for a while.
 
My courier is on his way. Wasn't really feeling it this week, but a half-arsed entry has a better shot than no entry at all.
 
The beast has been sent! This is also the first competition I've ever entered so maybe I'll get lucky, who knows! :3
 
One question, what if the car isn't black, but the picture itself is in black and white making it look like the car is black? :dunce:
