I also use photobucket. Just go to your pic and click on the edit button and resize. It will automatically keep the proportions for you. Then change the larger number to 500 and save it as a new copy. You can then post the smaller pic here and link the larger pic to it if you like so that people can see it in it's full glory Hope that helps.
