Damn, was called into work today, had no time to submit my entry.
 
I got called down to Laguna Seca yesterday to fill in for a driver who was feeling ill so I missed submitting anything to any of the competitions...
 
Let me know next time and I'll go in your place so you have time. :D

GT5 doesn't qualify you for a racing license. Hate to burst your bubble. Pay about $25,000 total for racing schools and equipment and maybe you'll get put in an amature league car, but even then your chances are extremely slim and if you don't win any prize money to then pay to the team to keep you employed, you won't last long in the sport at all. It sucks I know but that's the reality of racing today, all money. I rarely get to drive in any pro-ish events I'm just a west coast ringer for a few teams if something goes wrong while I wait for a team to pick me up full time.

DQ frozen treats sound nice after sitting in a 140+ degree cockpit for 3 hours.

@ Mynock you were there driving and Jason_B was there watching and taking photos - you two should talk and see if he has any photos of you racing.

Edit: Also interested to know how you rate the GT5 Laguna Seca driving experience compared to the real life one.
