Basically in a realistic manner.

Yep, although diverting multiple Cops to 1 speeder can also run resources dry, so it may work better in a "Hot Pursuit" Mode like we've tried before, 1 speeder - multiple cops, though rather than Sarthe, I'd be interested in trying out 80's Monza for this, As well as using 80's Monza a little bit more overall. (Photoshoot anyone ?)

Hell, I'd at least be up for testing 'Supercop' upgrades vs. Street Cars before ruling them out.

But rather than 'catch so-&-so in X minutes' tests, I'd rather test the drivers competence behind the wheel, something like "Lap Track-A 5 times within X minutes, and post proof". If we're going to allow them the car, lets make sure they can do more than ram-speeders with some lucky-timing. Things like sticking to an actual procedure - 'Catch suspect on road - maintain visual - wait for backup/multiple units, then P.I.T or corner if they haven't managed to go-off track yet.

Yes, there will be issues like making sure there are enough cops for a procedure like that, balancing Base-cars to be fair with Street cars, and so-on, But might as well try.
Just make sure you don't have me as 'catch that person' because I will make it very hard on you.

Lap times show how fast a person can go around a track. How is it useful in a pursuit where turnarounds are uncertain? There should be proper training as well as basics like pulling over procedures, pursuit mode, P.I.T., use of roadblocks and so on. Maybe it's time for all GTPD members to return to GTPD Academy for reevaluation.

Monza? Might as well try it.
Only moderators and admins can open lobbies. I don't think there are many people who would want one right now.
Beat me to it, but I just thought of something. What happened to the VIP privilege?

Ask WHaT. lol

Felt useless to be honest. There aren't really any other members that I would consider (yet) to be a VIP.

Figures. And no Jess, you're not gonna be considered VIP since you're a 'moderator.'

Oops, got it all wrong then, my apologies 👍.

Would you rather have cops that plow through the middle of corners & go straight off track ?, or cops who can stick to an apex and leave oncoming traffic out of the pursuit ?. Cops who know what the proper braking-points are for their car, or cops that use walls & someone's back-bumper to control their car ?

Laptime's don't just show a vehicles ability in multiple aspects (accel/brake/grip), but also the drivers overall ability to control that car at-speed. That's why I suggested '5 laps in X amount of time', rather than 1 glory-lap. If your consistent enough over 5 laps to meet a goal, chances are you know enough to handle a 'Supercop' car in a pursuit - but make a mistake in those 5 laps - tada, you've just discovered a weakness to work on and better-improve your driving.

On turn-arounds though, that's what the 'wait tor backup' part of procedure is for, try to take a speeder on your own, your open to tricks like that - bring backup and you have someone further back to rely on if they pull it off.

Anyways, I'm out the door, but thoughts on untuned-NASCAR lobbies, 'possibly dirty'?. I tried this with a few members sometime back, but the room wasn't filled enough to make it crazy-fun.

I say we fix that, let more people open rooms, so people who want something to do on GT6 have something to do

I'mmmm going to drop off this group once Midnight Club 3 installs on my PS3. Been wanting to play it for so long and finally saw it under PS2 classics.
@BionicDerp I hate you for lying to me and @TheJess656. There is no Most Wanted original in the PS2 Classics.

My ps3 can't play the ps2 games.

Mine doesn't either, but you can buy the ported versions from the PS Store. They got the classic GTA games (GTA: SA, 3, Vice City (& stories), and the older Midnight Club games. So happy right now.
