I'm really surprised. Nothing at all was corrupted. I got lucky I guess. I think it's cause the HDD light wasn't on and I was AFK. Also, I have a newer PS3 and when I go AFK it goes into a power saving mode where it kind of stops using data and just takes a break for the moment until needed active.
