What is the closest track to you? For me it would have to be Willow Springs International Raceway. But Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is also close.

Edit: Poll added

It depends what you mean by closest track. If you mean closest GT6 track, I'm remotely far from them all. However, if you are referring to famous well-known race tracks in general, the closest track to me is Virginia International Raceway.

For me it's the Nürburgring and Spa, some 2100 kilometers away.
Next after those are Brands Hatch and Red Bull Ring, 2500 kilometers.
Then it's Goodwood, 2600 kilometers, and then Silverstone and Circuit de La Sarthe, 2700 kilometers.

Closest GT6 track is Indianapolis, about 3 hour drive away. Been there once 10 years ago and saw the Brickyard 400.

Indianapolis for me. 13 hour drive from where I live.

Mountain Course - More famous as the 37+ mile Isle of Man TT

without using the Course-maker beta version in GT6...

I guess the National Silverstone layout.

But I'm closer to another F1 track in Aintree. Famous for the Grand National but home to the British Grand Prix for 5 years.

Judging by the fact that this is the GT6 General Questions forum, the question must be about tracks that are in GT6.

For me it's Silverstone, somewhere around 175-200 miles away.

Edit:
Would this make more sense with a poll?

Yes there should be a poll.
Anyway on topic:
Hard to choose one, so...
Favorite Real World Circuit: Le Mans 2013 Version
Favorite City Circuit: Tokyo R246 (I prefer the forward route as opposed to the reverse)
Favorite Rally Circuit: Eiger K Trail (The longest one)
Favorite PD made up (original) Circuit: Apricot Hill. High Speed Ring and Midfield very fun also

Brands Hatch I believe. It's either that or Silverstone. As for the closest notable non-GT6 circuit, Snetterton.

Punta Fria, Piriapolis, Uruguay.
This is the GT6 forum, so your answer should be a GT6 track.

The topic is closest, not favourite.

The Closest GT6 Track for me is The Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, Australia. Closest Non-GT6 Track is technically The Surfers Paradise Street Circuit on the Gold Coast.

Closest GT6 track is Silverstone which is around a 2 hour drive away while the closest non GT6 track is Oulton Park which is around 15 miles away

Laguna Seca is 738 miles by car according to Google Maps. But I'm only 15 minutes from Portland International Raceway. CART cars have run here as well as the Petit Le Mans and Trans Am races.

Closest GT6 track is Silverstone, 410 Mi away

Closest real life track is Nutts Corner Circuit, 12.4 Mi away

Closest track to me is the Indianapolis Motor Speedway at just under an hour drive, due to having to drive around the city. Was just there last weekend in fact.

Some of you chaps really should be a little more careful with the information you're giving out, given that it's possible to triangulate from giving the distances to two circuits and your GTPlanet profile location...

I do appreciate your concern @Famine & understand where you're coming from regarding privacy but believe me if someone wanted to try & hunt me down they would get a nasty shock when they got here :)

Brands hatch is closest to me, only 12 miles away followed by Silverstone which is 100 miles away.
Sounds like London would be closer than Silverstone if you're that close to Brands?

I'm not trying to hunt you down, I don't fancy a nasty shock. :nervous:

You would be correct in guessing London, that's no secret though as I've mentioned London as being my home town in another thread somewhere.

As for being scared it's not me you should be scared of, it's the wife lol :)
