If I owned a car, it would be about 3 and a half hours to Spa. Expanding to non-GT world known circuits, Zandvoort and Assen are both an hour to an hour and a half away.

Goodwood would also be one of the closest GT6 tracks to Le Mans.

Closest GT6 track is Indianapolis, about 3 hour drive away. Been there once 10 years ago and saw the Brickyard 400.

I did the tour and bus ride around, surprised how narrow it is in real life. Those 200mph turns are the real deal

Regarding the poll: Goodwood, London, Rome, Madrid & Tokyo all use roads that exist in the real world too. You can go to the real life versions of the city circuits that you race on in the game, even if you never see actual racing done there. Goodwood Hill Climb isn't a circuit but there is some real world competition conducted there & the question says "track" not "circuit". There may be more that I've missed & there's possibly even a case to be made for Sierra.
It's fair enough if you don't want to include them @wareric11, it's just a thought. 👍

Edit: Côte d'Azur hosts actual motor racing in the real world. Under a different name.

I've been to some conventions for an online flight sim. I have never met anyone that I would not invite home for a BBQ.

I have traveled around the USA on business and scheduled time to meet for dinner or lunch with some of these people. It's the ones that don't get out and mingle that I'd worry about

I live 8 miles (20 minutes) from Portland International Raceway. There is a book out on the history of racing in the Pacific Northwest titled "Long Straights and Hairpin Turns" by Martin Rudow. His father raced against mine in the late 50's and early 60's. Even had the same (almost) car. My dad had a Veloce version of the 1958 Alfa Romea Gulietta Spider. I met him at this year's Historic Races at PIR.

Even though he doesn't do any simulated racing, I'd even invite him home for a BBQ

The Flight sim in question is Warbirds by iEN. But I have been known to spend time in MSFSX as well and on their (or other) boards. I have attended a number of the Warbirds conventions in the Pacific Northwest from around 97 through 2005 or so. I've met many people and been to several homes for BBQ/dinner and still meet up with some of them at museums and events where the WWII aircraft are flown.

I see you're from southern California. I've been to Planes of Fame a number of times and to the Long Beach Grand Prix a few times in the early 2000's. I've never been to Willow Springs though. That's where they train the Amateur racers for the Pro-Am event at the Long Beach Grand Prix.
