Closing/Removing Threads

I have a thread that people are still posting on but the point got across and its no use any more. Can I close/delete the thread or can only moderators do this?

Premiums can close there own threads , however if you arn't premium then you have to either let it burn out, or ask a mod politely to do it for you.
