Hey guys,

I just checked Fanatec's web-shop: the Club Sport Tuning Kit is gone. What's happening?

I don't know, all I know is the entire site is down. ;)

yeah this blows, i had the CSR Elite in my shopping cart when the site went down!
Edit, nevermind, its back up and my Elite is en route! (sorry about the tuning pack though, that is odd)

Maybe they gave out too many free tuning kits before they had a new shipment? lol

Well to be honest the kit is a bit overpriced.
Not so much for early CSP buyers.

When Fanatec decided to upgrade the CSP to replace plastic parts with those also now in the kit. So in effect you get a new pedal plate, few springs most you wont use as far too soft and some oil. Oh and some brake inserts if your adjusting the pedals to much different holes.

I can only agree with you. Put less in there and ask less or come out with a better balanced tuning kit v2 or something.

I would say a new tuning kit that also works for both the CSP & the CSR Elite pedals would be ideal. Something around or below £20/$20. Focus mainly on springs.

Dont inlcude the extra square pedal plate of the CSP.

Do include however:
Stiffer springs for Throttle & Clutch
Soft medium and hard for Brake
Maybe a nice tool set with Fanatec branding.

CSR Elite pedals do not have a spring on the brake pedal as standard but the CSP brake spring works a treat giving a bit more response than the standard pedals without the spring.

So a kit that benefits both sets of pedals to me makes great sense.

I'd also like to see an extra load cell included into a Tuning kit one day. Maybe a Load Cell repair kit? "Hint hint"

I received free 1 kit for each of my CSP, the first thing I did was invert the pedals and since I was changing the springs around I added stiffer ones for the clutch and throttle. I think they should be included in every CSP order as free.

Good idea

I really want a more stiff spring for my gas pedal on my clubsports. I couldn't bring myself to spend 50 dollars to purchase the kit just for that. Anyone have any alternatives? I guess I can search some hardware stores and find a replacement.

Hey guys,

Just ordered some CSP's and they're still being offered with the free tuning kit.

I can't wait to get them now! Hopefully they help me improve my lap times and become more consistent.

It's still missing from the US store. Strangely, the Club Sport pedals are now $199, but they don't list the tuning kit as a part of the package.

The CSP used to be $149 and the Tuning Kit $49, if I am not mistaken.

Are the CSPs more expensive now?

+1 As someone who just bought the Elite pedals, i'd hate for ALL the attention to go to the Clubsports with no future upgrade options for us.

As long as I've been looking the CSP's have been around the 200euro price. The Elite pedals have been around 149euro and are not compatible with the tuning kit.

Just take your throttle spring off and hit some hardware stores. Replacement springs are fairly easy to find. Make sure to take your original spring with you so you can match up the size and check the stiffness with the ones in the store. Those springs are so cheap that it's ridiculous that they don't come with the pedals. I like my Fanatec wheel and my CSP's, but as a company, I find it very hard to find anything good to say about Fanatec.

i have a feeling they fawked up somewhere when ordering.... easiest way to to is SHUT DOWN... LMAO...

Thanks I will do this. Just need to make sure I watch the videos on how to put the pedals back together when I'm done.

That was probably for inventory purposes.
Tho I would have kept csp at normal price and adjusted the TK to a 0 price. Reason: exactly your question. Its confusing now with price back up.
