Like in most modern racing games, such as Driveclub, there is a feature that allows the camera in cockpit view to focus towards the apex of the turn. Personally I feel that it generates an amazing 'feel' for the car during a corner, as well as improve GT aesthetically. Adding this feature will also cure some of GT 'stiff-like' issues. Also, this feature could be set off or on depending on the Player's preference.

if you go to the controller options in GT6 you can enable the option to look to the sides while in cockpit view in case you don't know.

Yes I have that activated. This 'look-in' function is an automatic camera, whereby as you approach the turn the camera automatically looks at the apex.

meh never really liked it in SHIFT 2 , i would like it even less in GT , i like controlling it myself.

I doubt we will see that feature. We use our eyes to tell oversteer and understeer and if the camera moves it creates the illusion that the car has moved. It takes a long time to get used to. It would be especially bad in bumper view where you have no reference point inside the car to tell you the camera has moved. My guess is that this is why it hasnt been implemented.

i agree .

If that ever was implemented, that would disorient my driving pretty bad. The only time I look left or right in GT6 is when I want to see who's beside me or nearby me via mirrors. If the game automatically turns my POV while turning, I wouldn't be able to judge when I should floor it, steer, shift up or down, or brake that well.
