Which do you prefer? I am usually a bumper car user since the golden age of gran turismo 'era. But right now, i usually switch to cockpit view. because i find it very realistic and i want to feel im playing in a ps3 game where i felt i was playing in Ps2 in bump cam view. plus when its raining its a total racing revolution.! But when im doing flying laps i use bump cam view. But i think im not gonna use it anymore since i dont care my times in gran turismo 5, as i don't care about this game. i just play it. Sometimes though, i switch to cockpit zoom to experience the speed. Because the one thing that Gt5 doesn't have in cockpit view is the sense of acceleration.

It took alot of courage for me to open this thread, I honestly didnt know what I was going to find.

Ontopic however, i find that the bumper view suits me best, its just like the cockpit without huge roof struts and other crap in your way. I also find the cockpit hinders me seeing if i hit the apex like i intended.

EDIT: You changed the title, "Cock or bump cock" was a bit too ambiguous.

I find myself using bumper cam when racing online or going for a serious time trial lap (GTAcademy, WRS etc), or generally whenever in a standard car. This allows me to be much more precise and consistent.

I use a premium car for A-spec wherever possible and use cockpit, clutch and shifter (if the car does not originally have a paddle-operated gearbox) 👍

Could I also please ask that you use capital letters at the start of your sentences and a capital "I" when referring to yourself. You can find further posting guidelines in the AUP which you agreed to when registering on these forums 👍

All the best

I use Bumper view for online, and Cockpit view for all other modes.
I use cockpit view in all games that have that view, GT5P, Forza, Shift, Dirt, etc.

It all depends on the car. Some have fantastic clear views (mclaren f1) while others are impossible (gt citron race car). I do tend to use bumper or hood when online a bit more then usual.

Heya guys, new here, might as well post.
Bumper all the way here, I find its more precise for viewing and it handles better too.
Let me explain, there seems to be more suspension movement from the bumper (physics require this) than the cockpit, giving better feedback in all.
I have still yet to play with the GT5 wheel, I have had it for over a year now, and am grinding from level 32 to 35 for my X1.
Be seeing you around cause I have plenty of Q's for you all..

👍

I guess, i came to a conclusion that BUMPER CUM, really is the driver's choice. while driving on cockpit view when its raining is no exception at all. As it gives a perfect racing experience to all virtual racers around the world.
