I have had my obutto a month. The cushion was a little hard at first, but now I can race for hours without any type of discomfort. The only thing I added for comfort was a small dog bone pillow to support the back of my neck. I weigh 235 pound and i dont feel any bars

I've had mine since February and never encountered any kind of discomfort like this. Maybe the newer ones are different but I just went over and pushed on the seat cushion and felt under and and I'm not sure what bar you'd even be feeling. The thinnest part of the seat cushion is still about 2-3 inches thick (and fairly firm) and under it I don't see or feel anything that would be able to push through and cause discomfort. Might want to send an email to Obutto customer support... from what I've seen Chris responds to a lot of stuff directly.

I just had another feel around on mine and I still can't feel anything that would be able to cause that. As far as I can tell the only thing in my seat cushion is whatever kind of foam its made out of. The seat sits on these:

So I wouldn't think that those are causing your problem.

my obutto is so comfortable with the dog bone pillow supporting my neck I take long naps in it.

you have supper sensitive skin if you can feel those little cushion support rods

I have had my Obutto for going on 4 years now . I spend at least 4 hours a night in it racing online , surfing the internet , doing work on my pc , etc . It is so comfortable that I have fallen asleep in it for a couple of hours at a time . I have never had a issue with the seat . I do use a lumbar pillow because I have a lower back issue , but that is no reflection of the seat . It is hard to beat a Obutto for the price !!! I love the built-in monitor mount , keyboard tray & adjustable wheel mount . I use a ECCI Trackstar 6000 & a ECCI CDS4000 (40 lbs) with it ... it supports the weight with no issues !!! It is a VERY SOLID gaming rig !!!!!!

Wishywish, you took that bar out of the seat?? I'm pretty sure if one of those was in mine I'd be able to feel it. They must be making them differently now or something.

What I did was to go to Wally World and bought a seat cushion to go in my Obutto seat. Something like this but mine isn't leather.

That rod is in the seat spline to hold it together. It is possible it was mis-aligned in manufacturing and you were feeling it. In a normal case, you would never know it existed.
